@@max33kick I don't think it was ever good from family experience, but its just wasn't much worse than competitors. The problem is they haven't really gotten any better reliability wise over time, while pretty much every other manufacturer has. Joel, you've really transcended the 'car dude' channel genre and have turned into a legitimate short film maker-sincerely and literally. You see things the way and artist does, and know how to capture that and share it via beautiful and evocative images, and communicating with unique point of view and a real sincerity that shines through. I know that's not the easiest thing to do driving along alone or sitting in the middle of nowhere talking into a camera...! Along with, of course, some awesome and insightful car content...and as an '03 Z4 3.0 owner I obviously appreciate that as well. You've got a special talent at this, which is pretty rare amidst the usual basic stuff that rolls by endlessly here (nothing wrong with them, they're just doing something very different from what you do with these.) Think you're going to have a very interesting future making all kinds of content, on many platforms, as a genuine visual artist. Not a lot of people that start one of these can truly make a career out of it, you definitely can. I know a little a bit about what I'm talking about here, so trust me lol. Lots of Range Rovers on eBay etc with well over 150k miles. Looking after them properly helps. A lot of people don't understand that just sending the car for an MOT every year isn't enough.
I've had this one just over a year and I've changed all fluids (engine oil/front and rear diff/transfer case/gearbox/coolant & brake fluid) as well as having the air con serviced and a set of new tyres, disks and pads front and rear. Up to press, the only issues that I've had is 2 door latches (common fault covered under warranty), alarm activations (bonnet latch. Another common fault £15 to fix) and a puncture!
They're lovely cars. They just need a little more TLC than most.

All these bad comments towards a land rover breaking down is mad...If it was a Toyota that bad a fur l leak they'd probably make an excuse for it and letting it off. Had very few issues with my 2006 l322 where it's left me stranded or needing a mechanic. Problems could happen to any car but you can't beat the driving experience of a range rover! Got to be an enthusiastic owner to have one. Great video and look forward to the next!

In 2001 a friend and I started a journey in Cornwall at Mullion Cove with a full round of golf, once the sun had risen enough to see the first green (a par 3, thankfully). then drove in his 3000GTO to Thurso GC and completed another round of golf before nightfall, although it was slightly dark as we putted out on the 18th. We had a printed (!) list of speed camera locations and an AA road map atlas to guide us.

C-Max’s are pretty reliable generally speaking. I am sure you could find many examples of Toyota Land Cruiser’s brand new ‘hiccups’. I’m not put off as my L322 has been fantastic.
