    One of the symptoms I had was no energy to workout in the gym, even if I wasn't working or had 12 hours of sleep. I just couldn't lift even with a good protein intake, although strangely there were rare days when I had the power to lift the earth meaning that's when I had "normal sleep"... It all makes sense once you know about sleep apnea and how it can interfere with your life. I encourage everyone to get familiar with the condition!

    CPAP machines may be the gold standard of treatment for sleep apnea, but note that they aren’t cheap (about $2.4k for the CPAP device shown in the programme), and the purchase is unlikely to be covered by insurance policies.
    The following is a sample exclusion policy paragraph. I won’t mention the insurer, but some of you may recognize the wording.
    “Buying or renting special braces, appliances, equipment, machines and other devices, such as wheelchairs, walking or home aids, dialysis machines, iron lungs, oxygen machines and any other hospital-type equipment to use at home or as an outpatient.”
