a very motivating video, thanks Shawn! I'm really enjoying coding on Matlab right now, starting to get to grips with it, especially chemical engineering based systems.
I am developer myself in new york city. This is an awesome video, journaling is unrated. As a full-time developer I always journal everyday its almost a form of meditation. thanks for sharing!
Hey there good luck from a full time software engineer. As soon as I heard web 3 I was oh no, but you know what? The fact you have been into since 2017 shows you actually care about the technology. My only recommendation is to learn something traditional like mobile or web development in case crypto doesn’t pan out. Good luck and welcome to the field!
thanks bro! yeah i've been learning web development for the last year (html/css/javacsript/react)! maybe i'll show my beginner portfolio in one of my upcoming vlogs :P
Hey, there! I want to apply in Chemical Engineering and Technics offered by China University of Petroleum. They focus more on relation to oil & gas processing and refining, chemical enhancement of production, bio-chemical processing. Is that what a chemical engineer usually learn in their Bachelor's degree?
Do you think you might maybe go back to school to get data science, computer science or a related degree? Since there might be a barrier in terms of career growth based on a non-coding degree. P.S: do you get to eat sushis? Pros of a half-japanese GF?
i might in the future, but so many people have been able to have successful coding careers without the degree. if anything, i'd get it for my own personal satisfaction not for career prospects. we eat sushi a lot! in vancouver there are many sushi restaurants :) i was always a big fan of sushi before i met her but shes a bigger fan :P
All the best for breaking into the market Shawn, hopefully this year brings some great things! Fantastic video as always 👍
thanks bro!! let's get it

what skills/course can you recommend for a fresh grad chem eng to focus and master
process control and engineering documentation (P&ID, process simulations)
