People are so negative, dang, there are people out there who rescue animals they see injured, did ya think of the possibility of someone else seeing it and saving it?
In these cases first of all try to gain the trust of the animal and then try to rescue it. In case of blood, breaking or dislocation of joints it's better to call animal aid staff

Animal rescue would have likely put it out of its misery. That deer was old enough for capture myopathy to be a real danger, so with how long they would have had to keep it captive in order to treat that leg, it would have died anyways.

I appreciate the fact that she was noble enough to stop and film this for literally millions of people to see instead of help her husband save an additional 30 seconds which probably would have amounted to nothing as far as the deer was concerned. May as well have a snack in the interim. Good on her, smart lady!

In the country the only animal rescue is the man right there. Unfortunately this happens fairly often, and most of the time the farmer is too late to do a durn thing. For this reason it is handy to keep a bolt cutter in the truck.

It's nice he's trying to help the deer but he should've cut the wire for him so it doesn't cut him. The owner of the land should not put wires fences it's too dangerous for wild life and animals. But cheers to the man by freeing up the deer his life will become happier and peaceful.
