I still remember as a kid going to my first BJJ finals and a local competition and I was telling my coach I do not deserve to be here. He said why not? I said I haven't earned it so I do not deserve it. I was saying that because so many of the people on my team were better than me that did not make it into the finals. I will always remember what he said. He said well you are here now and this is where you earn it. If you want to deserve it Go deserve it.

To see a woman possess a beauty that’s synonymous to Queen Elizabeth but to be an actual wrestler, ….I just love her representation. A beautiful glamorous strong black woman. If there was a “ Bianca Belair” around when I was a little girl watching wrestling, I’d probably would’ve became a wrestler. Montez is humble but I see strength….he’s very secure in his manhood and career!
