      @LudicrousLauren 6 років тому +15

@@yoana3351 go buy kombucha from the store, origional, non flavored ( I had to use a ginger one but it still works!)
Boil 4 cups of water on the stove and add 4-6 black tea bags ( I used 4 black tea and 2 green tea).
Let it steep for 10 min.
Dissolve 1 cup or organic cane sugar.
Let the mixture cool no lower than 65 degrees to avoid mold in scoby.
Then add in 1/2 of the kombucha you bought into the mixture.
Cover the top of your jar with an old T-shirt (I cut fabric from the bottom of one) so that the mixture can breathe and flies dont invade it.
Put it in a dark room or pantry and leave it undisturbed for 14 days.... yes 14 days.
If you mess with it to much you will disturb the scoby life cycle.
At the end of 14 days you will have a beautiful scoby.
Taste the mixture to make sure it's not too sweet, you want it sour but not too sour either.
Then repeat the tea brewing steps above minus the store bought kombucha.
Transfer 2 cups of your first brew + your scoby into the cooled tea and sugar mixture, cover again and let it sit for 7 more days and you'll have even more kombuch.
It ferments more and more with every brew cycle and will be much more carbonated than the first!

I was in pain with sciatica. The pain was very bad . It went from my waist through my foot. It also made half of my foot numb. I tried to do yoga but it was very difficult with the pain. So then I started to brew my own kombucha and drank regularly. Then after 2 weeks I barely felt any pain and my foot stop being numb. The only thing I did differently in my diet was drinking kombucha. So I just post it here in case anybody have the same problem and just want to give it a try. P.S. Chiropractored for over 20 years with lower back pain, neck pain and most recently a dehabilitating knee issue that I couldn't walk without crutches. Moved to my home away from cell towers. My health conditions ALL CLEARED UP. There was NO SMART METER on my home. Recently I was FORCED to have one put on my home or they would disconnect. The very next day....EXTREME migraine, knee pain (felt like hot cattle prod hitting my knee) lower back pain returned. I then put a smart meter cover around my electric meter. That didn't do the trick. Then I saw on-line...faraday cages around bed on you tube. Had one made for about $250.00. 8x8x6 feet tall. THE NEXT MORNING I felt like I was 25 again!!! I am 64.

Mmm.. I don't know. I think a lot of it depends on how it's made. For example, if it's bottled too early (not left to ferment long enough), it'll have a higher sugar content.. or if you use black tea instead of green you'll get more caffeine. Each batch varies widely depending on the ingredients you use and how long it's left to ferment. I think that's why a lot of people get confused about it's benefits.
I personally believe that everyone can drink Kombucha if brewed the right way for that person. For example, you're not gonna give an alcoholic Kombucha that has been left to ferment too long. It can be a gateway back into alcoholism.
Just my two cents. I make my own at home. It's delicious. :)
    Luv ya brother!

Aixa V my first experience with kombucha was in my early twenties and that was 30 something years ago and a woman had made it with the spores from her great-grandmother's recipe it had never touched metal only glass which was one of the things about kombucha was no metal. no other sweeteners then regular sugar and black tea and only black tea. She was almost a hundred I used to clean house for her because she had a mansion and couldn't keep up with it and Great Danes. her kombucha was amazing but she took extra time and making sure it didn't touch metal and all that. And she also let it sit for a very long time before she touched it or moved it. I absolutely agree on the sugar content hers had no sweetness that was a sugar sweetness it had a pleasant taste but not sweet and that was due to the time, but if you talk to people who made kombucha in the early days it's just an absolute send to use anything other than black tea! That's is what kombucha is.

I'd have to disagree with this video. I started recently drinking kombucha and I have ibs. Recently my ibs was triggered by stress and anxiety which is why I bought some to try and it helped my symptoms go away completely. I've tried many different medications for ibs symptoms and none of them worked. The only thing that came close was taking probiotics and taking cbd. But, they didn't stop my stomach cramps and intense pain completely. Only the kombucha did, it also helped me to feel amazing like energized yet also calm, focused, and happier. I'd definitely recommend it to someone with ibs to at least try a small amount and see if it helps. I know some people with ibs do have worsened symptoms but sometimes like in my case it helped. Also, the low fodmap diet is a live saver and helped reduce my ibs symptoms almost completely. Just a quick tip to anyone who may be reading this wanting to try kombucha, don't drink the whole bottle if it's 16 oz. If you stick to the serving size which is normally 8 oz then you should be okay and not have negative symptoms. If you drink more than 8 oz in a day some people report getting sick. I know a lot of people usually go by the mentality that if it's so good I must drink more, but that's not the best bet at least with kombucha. To much of a good thing can be toxic. Also, when I was disagnosed with ibs years ago my doctor recommended that I try probiotics, probiotic yogurt, and even kombucha (which I hated the first time I sipped it and only recently gave it a try again) so I don't understand why he thinks that could be a problem.

I was 49 years old when I moved to an area that had a grocery store that served non alcoholic Komucha. I had not had a yeast infection since my early 20’s. After consuming it for a couple of weeks- just a little everyday, I developed a systemic yeast infection (my gut hurt, had vaginal yeast and felt like I had knives in my throat). I became very ill. I felt horrible, couldn’t eat anything, was dizzy, had memory issues( couldn’t remember my best friend’s last name), calcifications that were/ are visible etc... I am much better now- gut feels better, however my thyroid was affected. Working on that now! Take many supplements everyday, no gluten or grains, no sugar and I’m on my way back to health!

Stephanie Bogart when people blurt out the three autoimmune diseases that he just said you assume the first. Then he went on to say it moistens the body constipation would benefit from that. moisture your dry! your bacteria is off you're probably loaded with yeast that isn't detectable by a doctor because of where it's living and yeast candida and other kinds carry thousands of other bacterias with them they bring them along for the party! keeping a really good Diary of your food and how you feel every day you can catch things that do not affect you for 7 to 10 days! keep a food diary how you feel, about sleep. what your tongue looks like, your eyes.If you have dark or baggy circles. Then take it to a proper naturopath who understands yeast and autoimmune diseases and how to reverse them with raw vegan diets or just start in The eliminating the obvious Foods things like grains sugar of any kind other than raw whole stevia plant dried and ground into a green powder. Dairy, eggs, animal Foods in general. Start taking a full spectrum probiotic it must have at least 10 different kinds for your body to start making a choice on what your body needs take that for at least 30 to 60 days and then switch Brands to another one that has 10 different kinds make sure you see the word reuteri in one of them. I'm a medical doctor with a lot of naturopathic training. And just was obsessed with these things from the earliest age! it was actually strange and not the norm around me. I have helped so many people cure their autoimmune diseases! or as I like to say THE autoimmune disease cuz I don't like people claiming diseases IE my cancer my diabetes yuck! I wish I lived near you so I could help more! I was in some very serious car accidents close together and have had a lot of problems getting around because of the damage that was done thank goodness I was in very good shape at the time and had strong core muscles and neck and body and was small I'm a female contrary to the name so when rear-ended at 65 miles an hour when we were stopped my head went back to the truck window and I lost my child so I don't practice anything anymore but trying to recover even though it's been 13 years Thanksgiving. but I still just have this urge to help people! I hope you find the right person to help you, there are so many people out there who go about autoimmune problems the wrong way like killing your whole immune system thinking that that's doing you better rather than resetting your immune system and it's so possible but it takes so much work. But isn't it worth it? it's your life! and you want to live it to your very best ability and a healthy person is a happy person and a happy person is beautiful! Good luck with your health and Adventures and remember to think about things like what are you holding in? has something bad happened and you're not letting it out. Or are you in a relationship that's smothering you and you don't get to speak your mind that can affect your throat and your gut by holding things in. So women get thyroid tumors and thyroid issues which are so hard to detect by modern allopathic medicine. The studies done on the thyroid are the average 6-foot white male. They think it's normal for women 40 years old and up to have thyroid tumors! normal to have disease and whether it's cancer or benign you have a tumor on your thyroid which is affecting your whole entire system including what you have been diagnosed with. I would guess that you're extremely minerally challenged! Zinc is a huge offender when it comes to constipation magnesium you definitely have to study to learn how to take them properly. Unfortunately food-wise zinc is in a lot of animal products like organ Meats. again being that we don't have the proper enzymes to really break down flesh in the gut. and you really don't want to put things like flesh and Dairy into a gut that's not eliminating immediately! You'll end up with clogged intestines with that will fill and become polyps which are precursor to cancer of course. it's almost 5 a.m. and I haven't been to sleep I get insomnia because after the accident like I said if I wasn't somebody who walked 4 miles a day and stretched for four hours a day which caused me to be extremely strong and small at the same time I'd be dead. But it's still did nerve damage in my neck and I'm not so good at taking my own advice. I lost a lot of money after. And went from wanting nothing to needing everything including someone to help me take care of myself the way I need to till I get strong enough to do it myself. I know I've said a lot voice to text is a gift and a curse. some of the words will print out wrong when I hit send the autocorrect and the punctuation is horrid. do the best you can trying to figure out what I said and if there's anything that you think I can help you with please ask and I don't always see that somebody responded on these things they kind of disappear into the black hole. just the ones that I can't figure out where my comment or like is that takes me back to it every time somebody makes a comment and I'm about to lose my mind I get that 10 times a day and I've tried to block it I've given up at this point. take care good luck and anything again that I can help with please ask and I hope I see it!
