Fishing for SHARKS off the Dorset coast!

This week saw me back out on the offshore banks in search of some deeper water mark predators. Not only was I on search of some big Tope but also a variety of summer species. This session turned out to be another day boat fishing with a very special surprise visit from a pod of resident dolphins!

Always lovely to see dolphins. I always seem to miss them in the bay. The weather has been mad this year, last time out the wind changed direction and strength at least 3 times, which is odd

I’ve been very lucky the last few months to spot them a few times, although this is the first time I’d seen the whole pod feeding together in such a way!
