- Chris Evans and Ana de Armas talks with MovieZine about their new movie "Ghosted". We obviously asked them if they have ever ghosted or been ghosted themselves in real life and Ana de Armas has managed to experience both apparently.

@@el_Pablo_Uno Dude's got to have the biggest regret among a lot of us. At least I can claim I haven't done anything so monumental, even though I've definitely fucked up a lot. I do account for the fact that it is entirely possible that there may have also been some justification for it. Like if she was super toxic or something. As she said, she hasn't always been like this.

@@JamieZarrr Than comtemplating as a once significant bond in his life slowly wears off until it ends, and he can't do nothing about it. I mean, he can try with all he has, and it still wouldn't work. I think smth similar happened to me, so I get it, and it's awful. I've also been straight up ghosted, and I remember just fine the angst and the sadness and asking myself why in the world, if everything was going just fine, and we had like virtual benefits and that, but we were also such good friends and confidents and ish... So that was also awful. I didn't like both experiences and I don't fancy repeating any of them anytime soon. Preferably never again in my remaining lifespan.

@@FTW_109 sorry you went through that. My very first was last year, although I'm now in a happy relationship. Thought it was going places and it was just awful. They did come back and apologize, then kind of do it again. They had some trauma stuff to get through and I can empathize with that; knowing that doesn't make it any easier to experience though.

Whoever ghosted Ana is clearly regretting their poor life decisions.
Here’s my thing with ghosting. If you used someone then that’s pretty poor karma. But if someone simply can’t take a hint then I think ghosting is a solid option. For me to explain to a stranger why I’m not attracted to them is hella weird and they need to work on stuff.
I think sometimes it's better to be blunt, I'd rather you say, "I'm not interested in you" than be ghosted. I have had a woman do stuff to hint she is not interested, but it would have been better she say so. it doesn't have to be a paragraph. just say it. I have had women speak plainly and it was far better for me to get it that way than waste days to weeks to figure she didn't like me or randomly be ghosted. it's immature a lot of times. if they don't acepta rejection ghost them, but don't make that assumption unless it's obvious.
The problem is that people don't tell others they are not interested these days, not even hints (which are a whole other issue) The norm now is to ghost because they think it's the nice thing to do. They don't have to ruffle theirs or others feathers. The truth is ghosting has a much worse affect on individuals than just telling them no.
Ghosting not only shuts down a possible romance, but also a possible productive friendship.
There was a young lady that ghosted me, but I new her sister that worked at a bar. We'd randomly run into each other and the gal that ghosted me thought it was okay to grab my face and be super friendly, borderline affectionate. It was not okay, I had lost all respect for her because she did not show me the respect or dignity I deserved. I am cordial and polite, however we are not friends, I am friends with her sister not her.
If someone doesn't accept the rejection then your concern or lack of interests have become validated and now it's okay to ghost. Ghosting before making your thoughts, feelings, goals, or desires known is rude and disrespectful.
You don’t need to say why you’re not interested. Just that you don’t feel there’s a connection. Or that you’re still hung up on your ex. Or that you’re too busy to date/be friend now.
