How to Sew a Simple Belt Bag/Fanny Pack with Free Sewing Pattern

I kept this fanny pack super simple-no pockets this time, just the essentials!
For the outside, I used a mix of denim and cotton canvas, both backed with medium-weight non-woven fusible interfacing to give it a bit more structure (and since the denim had a little stretch).
The lining is made from lightweight quilting cotton.
Zipper - I chose a 3mm nylon coil zipper because it's easier to sew along curves. If you prefer a 5mm zipper, just sew with the seam allowance of 5/16" (8mm) instead of 1/4" (6mm). No need to change the pattern.
Webbing - I used webbing tape that’s 1 1/8" (3cm) wide, but feel free to go for anything between 1" (2.5cm) and 1 3/8" (3.5cm).
