How to Catch a Barra in Townsville - Anchors Deep

  • After the purchase of another Gopro, I decided to take it for a test run down Aplins Weir in Townsville's Ross River.
    After the recent rain the Barra fire up and are great fun to catch.... even in the middle of the day.
    This video is a bit of a How to Catch a Barramundi in Townsville.

      @@anchorsdeep that said, I was at black's the other day and saw a 1m+ casually swim past me looked like he'd done multiple tours in Vietnam so you're likely right on the spillover thing

      @@anchorsdeep if you go across the bridge from the tavern (or just from the carpark on the opposite side) and walk down that little dirt trail of an early morning they full on cruise around right near the bank; the bamboo type stuff can make it hard casting though
