Yes, a lot has remained the same! There have been a few major fires along the boardwalk over the years which has caused some change. AND there is no longer a McDonald's!! LOL

Great! I think we have a similar story. My very first contact with Hampton beach was in 1974. Like you and your family I guess, my father use to rent a cottage on Jones ave. The Boardwalk on Ocean Boulevard is so nice! Your video brings me back to these fantastic years! Thanks again.
@@marcom.1919 We started going there in the early 70's. My parents rented a cottage on 13th Street, I guess that would technically be North Hampton. The Boardwalk has undergone quite a few changes due to some large fires that have happened over the years. They have cleaned it up considerably in the last few years!
@@thislifeofours603 Oh yes, your story definitely sounds like mine. But for us, we had the language barrier. And to be honest, that was part of the pleasure. And people were so nice so that's never been a big problem. I really love that place!
