You don’t think there are multiple fields of medicine that are interesting to you? Rotations are gonna suck Becoming certified in multiple specialties is only realistically possible for a nurse practitioner. Are you sure you just want to do psych for the next 40+yrs?
@@reddbendd Surgery is definitely interesting, but something about psychiatry is even more interesting. I know my opinion is probably gonna change in my 5-6th year but for now. The goal is psychiatry. It’s nice to have that little vision to keep me motivated while studying.

Unfortunately a lot of involuntary holds happen because of liability but it risks istrogenic harm to the patients. Thousands of dollars in bills, loss of dignity, loss of autonomy, they lose their job their housing…. But the Dr loses nothing and makes thousands 😢
