Contention: as cognition hails from the brain, and molecular and atomic composition of the brain have nothing to do with its function, rather genetics and development. Free will does exist, as your brain makes these decisions and you essentially are a brain inside of a flesh suit. The idea that all choices are reliant on preexisting brain structure is fundamentally flawed, as someone’s brain chemistry and cognitive capacity, although factoring into their choices, are still a part of themselves and a persons free decision making process. Someone’s brain structure doesn’t invalidate autonomy. People’s ability to decide is based on their ability to think, which is based on their brain’s structure. Brain structure doesn’t inhibit free will, it actually does the opposite and fuels it.

I think we are all spiritual beings having an ‘experience’ earth.
A thought is never forgotten, it will go into your subconscious mind.
You do have free will but choices have consequences.

1. Time is a continuum of which we have arbitrarily drawn lines that define events. But in doing so we have done the same as limiting the Sun to the extent of its fire rather than the extent of its heat. In other words, the effects of moments in history are always at play; therefore, nullifying the idea of history itself. The idea of ‘the now’ then becomes much more important since the idea of existence is a flowing continuum rather than a concrete, undulating system of causality and consequences. The question then transforms from when did time start- since time starts whenever we decide it starts, to why did time start. The answer then is whenever the ‘I am’ that preceded the universe became conscious. A seemingly impossible question, but the answer is pretty simple (To clarify, the I Am does not have to be a deity of any sort if you do not believe in that). It never started and never will- a stream of collective consciousness cannot be quantified at this point in time (especially by a scalar quantity of time) and so there is no beginning or end point in terms of humanity and the universe. The question is only valid if consciousness works similarly within the incipient of the universe (the energy or deity depending on your belief). Though we cannot comment certainly- in almost any case, it is rational to say these ‘higher powers’ for lack of a better word, supersede the concept of time. To them ‘the now’ is boundless and cannot be measured within the capacity of human comprehension.
TLDR:
Time is arbitrary (doesn’t actually exist) so it couldn’t have ever started.

Ok i have to answer the life after death one. I had a massive LAD widow maker heart attack and died on the way to the hospital. There is something, im not really sure how to explain properly, but there is a crossing or a barrier that needed to be crossed. Most peaceful ive ever felt. I am not religious in any way shape or form, but there is something further after death. No lights or such but an awareness and peacefulness of having to get through the barrier.

Hi! Love this and love your channel so far, especially your adhd videos. I think they’re great for me to relax to and it really help with my wandering mind by focusing on your videos. A better way to phrase question 1 is, has time always existed or was it created?
Time was not created by a person.
Time is relative not subjective.
Math is a construct of human intellect but we do have universal constants like gravity.
Thoughts are contained in the brain, when you die they are gone.

Dreams are electrical signals in your brain.

Will try my best to answer:
1: when did time begin
Time 'began' at the moment of the big bang, the basic definition of time is the measurement of change. So seeing as we dont know what was before the big bang, we cannot measure how long the cosmos was in that on that state prior to the big bang, therefore the big bang is considered the start of time. But time itself could be infinite
Follow up Q: was time created
The concept of time was man made to help understand/describe the universe better such as the rotation of the sun around the earth takes 24 hours for example
3 was mathematics created or discovered
Mathematics, like time, is a man made concept/language that helps us describe and understand the universe.
For example you walk through the Forrest and see notice 2 sticks on the ground, the number 2 is a way to describe the amount of sticks on the ground.
4 where do thoughts go.
Thats really hard to answer however in short they are stored in memory (most of the time subconscious) which can lead to dreams
5. Do we have free will or is it pre determined
I think we have free choice not free will and there is a difference in my opinion.
Every choice is either 1 of 2 things
1: the choice is made in hopes of a certain outcome
2: the choice where the outcome is random
And because those are the only options ots not really truly free however we have a choice of which of the 2 we go for

My answers
1. To my knowledge the physical concept of time began with the creation of the space-time continuum, which would be the big bang.
2. In a sens yes, because someone must have been the first to think of the concept of time and people accepted this concept, but if referring to it in a higher power sense, then no.
3. I think math itself is invented, because it can't be the accurate way of describing the Universe, since the usage of the number 0 is very common, but (pretty much) every phenomenon we can explain/observe seems to hinting that the phenomenon of nothing does not exist in nature. I think Aristoteles was the first to claim that nothingness does not exist.
4. Again, just repeating a thought of Aristoteles, i think a thought that "passes through the mind" is left in the past, but the past does not exist. Something that exist is present, just like the future does not exist because it hasn't "manifested itself, the past does not exist because it is not present. So the Information is just "lost" and is re-created when thought of again.
5. I think we have free will simply because humans are able to do anything they like, as long as they have a strong enough mind. I think the prime example would be to resist against human nature itself, like Buddhist monks who mummify them self while alive. Another example would be the way stoics think about perception, something is only bad or sad etc. because we think that we should feel bad or sad etc.
6. Tbh., i have no opinion, because i believe in nihilism, but in the same time as stated before, most things seem to point towards nothingness to not exist. Which means that even in death my should can't be nothing. Have not read or thought enough about this question to give a answer that does not avoid the answer.
7. Assuming there is a live after death, i guess i would "hope" it is the Buddhist state of nirvana, since it is the closest thing to nihilism i know.
8. If i have to answer, I would say dreams are communication between the body towards the soul, telling what the body "thinks".
9. I think the goal of humanity could only be answered with a humanistic answer. So the goal would be to create a Illusion of the truth, existence, perception etc. in which most people believe, for reality is to cruel to bear, at least for most people.
10. I think will not be remembered for too long after death, since it is unlikely i ever will do something/accomplish something that will be remembered, since i don't see the point of trying to be remembered. Human existence is a unimaginable nothing compared to the probable live span of the universe, as well as the impact human lives have on the universe. If it is in a physical sense, i believe the epistemological theory (Laplace's demon is a great depiction of the concept) is correct, don't know why, just a hunch. May very well be wrong with future quantum mechanics research.
11. At least to my knowledge, something to be classified as a homosapiens firstly appeared in Africa and the orange does not originate from Africa, so the color orange probably was first. Aside from that marine lifeforms developed way earlier than any life on the surface and they weren't all stupid. So im sure marine animals also were able to identify the color orange, or at least some animal that lived before homosapiens, so the thought of the color orange appeared before the fruit orange.
12. I don't think the concept of wrong or right is something that is decided, meaning right or wrong does not exist, it is a fictional human concept. I mean even under humans different cultures see different things as wrong or right (I'd say im a philosophical radical sceptic).
13. I don't think freedom in the sense of most people exist. What people call freedom can't really be freedom since you can't do everything you want. For example if you break the law and in a sense "abuse the right of the stronger", you will be punished. We want to be free, we would have to live under the rule of survival of the fittest, but humans aren't able to survive on there own. We are a species that was so successful in dominating the world, through being cooperative. To be exact the human was/is the most cooperative animal, which is why he won the survival of the fittest and in the commonsense transcended it. So true freedom is worthless to humans, because if we would live amongst the laws of nature, which would let us do everything, but we can't do everything because predators/wild animals are superior, but if cooperate to be superior to wild animals, we lose the "right to do everything we want, because cooperation demands not only exercising the right of freedom, as long as we aren't hindering the freedom of someone else. (To highlight the contradiction of this common phrase: you are free as long as you don't do certain things (It literally says you aren't free).
14. It is up to definition if the chicken precedes the egg. It is just a matter of when you would call it a chicken. Though I'd say you would call it a chicken as soon as the DNA is similar enough. Which mean the egg precedes the chicken, because the mutation to become a chicken, only happen while the meiosis or the interference of DNA harming substances/radiation..
15. I question a lot, if the something called me exist at all. My answer would be i don't want to guess whether ideas like: "I think therefor I am" or the me is only a collage of impressions, things I aspire to be and so on. Which implies the true me is not real at all.
16. I think my personality is made the same way certain behaviors are formed by pets. For example a dog will do tricks because of the reward or is affectionate for the affection it receives in return.
(I think to most people this is very negative, but to me negative or positive does not exist. I basically want to say, im not negative, i just answer what I think is likely to what i know. I think it'd be kind of pointless if i just answered with the limit of logic in philosophy and the philosophical radical sceptic answer, that nothing can be known or at least not by humans. For to know anything at all one has to know absolutely everything, which would make one what we consider a god.
To extend on this Note, I cant love anything about me, because i believe it is not possible to know what is "lovable".)
17. I think any age is old enough to die of old age. Why fear something or rather be troubled by something that in inevitable. Fearing death is the same as self inflicting pain in a mental way or in Senecas words: "We suffer more in imagination than in reality."
18. Old can't be defined on its own. Just like you can't know what is good unless you know what is evil, you can't say something is old unless you are comparing something that is younger to it, but I'd say if you hitting your 40s you are pretty old (Im 18).
19. Yea, you can't prove that oneself exists or that anyone else exists. Don't know how i could twist words enough to make it appear as if there is a possible argument.
20. I'd say 50/50 chance. Could very well be im a KI generated on a supercomputer.
21. I'd say i have awoken form the dogmatic slumber, how Kant would call it and because of that pretty much everything. Sure me going to a super elite uni or me becoming something like a Olympic runner is not possible, but for apart form stuff like that, im able to absolutely control the path my life will take. Since it is not long i am awoken, I'd say so far i just didn't but i could've.
22. No, i don't think the earth is alive. I have no clue why it is so interesting to think about, since i don't know of any possible hints the earth itself is alive, sure there is live on top of its outer crust, but apart from that, don't know of anything.
23. I used to abhor silence, which is why i have a lot of things to sleep in my algorithm and now i still do it out of habit. So i am hear because of my habit to listen to something while sleeping and you are great to watch in the morning/bevor and while trying to sleep. I am typing an answer because this way i am able to answer the question in a more structured way i will remember.
24. We make exception to rules, because there are no absolute rules in the universe or at least we it is not possible to know, what rules truly exist.
25. The most likely theory is that the universe will expand forever which leads it to be a nearly infinite space with nothing in it.

Earth isn’t alive . Earth is a mass of molten metal surrounded by dirt and soil . What is on the earth and in the earth is Alive. What makes this a debate is the framing of the world “earth” bc obviously you mean it as the ecosystems of our planet . But my definition is gonna be the actual planet we live on. But since this argument boils down to the semantics of how we define earth in our respective sentences , we are both right so long as we both agree we are using different words. Bc when i read earth in the format of the question, there is no objective way the earth is alive .
