All of the music I have played today was for you Cynthia's you have a great day how to take care of yourself and be careful with the coronavirus reebed1959@ail.com
The other side, an uptempo cha-cha, "Miss Fine," actually got a bunch of airplay in New York, which is why I bought the single when new. This side came along as a bonus!
Personnel : Fred Parris (Lead) Wes Forbes (Tenor) Richard Freeman (Second Tenor) Louis Peebles Silvester Hopkins Discography : 1961 - Miss Fine / Dream a little dream (Wall 547) 1961 - Tears in my eyes / A little Bit (Wall 548)
Duet. As per Fred Parris it was only he and Lou Peebles on this recording. They picked up another person that I can't recall for their appearance on American Bandstand to perform the flip side......Miss Fine.
Chasing Rainbows, love the Five Satins. Having the # one or two record of all times. Changed their name ten times, it's impossible to ever get back. Just like the Penquins. They had somes great songs, wouldn't put this one up there. Still was nice. A great 5 Satin song, A Night Like This, check it out. This one was new to me. I think it's great. Let me know what you think?
While it's a well-accepted fact that this group contains members of the later Five Satins, do you hear more than two voices on the track? I don't. Covered by The Perez Brothers, also a duo.
Super slow dancing cheek to cheek! Wonderful doo wop. 🎶💙

love this song
It took me 40 years to fine this song every time I asked for it they were given me the mamas and the papas who wrote this song first.
-This came out in the mid-late 1950s. How did the Mamas & Papas who were around 1967,68 write this 1st?
@@Savadorason1 They only have the same title, but are different songs.
Glad you enjoyed it
I found five copies of this on a trip to Chicago back in the early 70s, the record has two different flip sides. what a great record Fred!
FRED COULD NOT GO INCOGNITO EVEN IF HE WANTED TO! NICE WORK

You're welcome
Yes, I think you're right
any rare harptone records?
Wes Forbes great lead from new haven ct.
Does any one knows JAYMENOLL AND THE and THE ETERNALS?????
I think they were probably still under contract to Al Silver of Herald Records
It is not the Five Satins...it's a duet. Sooooo the Two Satins. What I thought was harmony was the accompanyment.

I think this is from '61 as Littleblindowl70 said
What 's the name of the other side.

Are they ever going to sing this special song again any day soon?
