I met David Allen Greer at a Jamba Juice in the San Fernando Valley. He is definitely a piece of heaven to me.
David Alan Grier in one word... Legendary. Gawd I'm old.
So happy we now get to see him more ,weekly series and all. Gosh I've missed him, he's so funny .

How that cast could maintain enough composure to get through shooting an episode is beyond me........ Grier's portrayals of certain dialects was way too hilarious.... I wonder if he was class clown in grade schools :)
I had an opportunity to see him perform his comedy act at the Lumiere Casino in St. Louis and he had the crowd rollin'. Very funny.

Hightop Been a fan of both and just noticed the similarities. Sound similar, both theater dude, experience in improv, best known for sketch shows.
DAG is funnier imo. I like Key a lot, but I often think he tries too hard to match Jordan. DAG is a legend.

This guy would make a fantastic late-night talkshow host. America doesn't seem to have a black late-night talk show host. I've been watching him on various talkshows and he is a joy to watch, he has a fantastic upbeat energy, he's intelligent and charming and has a very quick wit. I think he's better than anyone out there right now. Sorry, Stephen but you are the best of the recurrent bunch.

I love collards, and not for nothing but I am pasty white. I make them myself several times a year and also pick up canned (gasp!) at the store and order them in restaurants. The home made are always the best, but the canned is sadly often better than restaurant fare...

He describes creating a bone broth here to flavor these greens and that's not too different from just adding in some meat/pork trimmings to the pot. I still think I'd prefer the meats through, so we can get some variety of texture going on in addition to the flavors.
Second thought, how heavily would you have to season that broth for it to flavor these greens?

Michael Kelley you’re right! DAG definitely would have been a better fit. I love love Damon but David is one of the best at ridiculous expressions which is perfect for Danny Glover’s character who is always over the top reacting to the crazy around him.
