For $330, you'd think that the life counter would be made of metal.
Not only that but like with art too ,
I live in Japan and got it for ¥16500 which is like $110 and even though I totally got my money’s worth I was still disappointed by the life spinner.

@@MTGUnpacked I didn't get a commander deck this set. I got a play box and a bundle though and I was VERY happy with my pulls.
I bet I’d pay what they’re asking for this deck and drop my delicate cardboard into slightly less delicate cardboard. They could atleast provide something like the dragon shield shell that’s thin plastic…
Crazy they just spent money making a slightly fancier outer box but the inside contents (other than the foiled cards) are basically exactly the same as the regular edition. No special collector's pack, no special life counter or deck box.
So you didn't notice the shiny deck box I guess. These decks are 150€ all day on Amazon for Germany. Fair price imo :)
Wow this is some fancy bling bling to behold! As a Canadian my jaw has hit the floor those decks are pricey up north!

Anyone else get totally screwed on their preorder for these? I pre ordered through Mystery MTG the day these were announced, and my preorder for the bundle was cancelled due to over allocation, which they didn’t tell me until release day, so it was too late for me to get at a decent price elsewhere. When they cancelled my preorder due to supposedly not having the stock, they were still selling all of the individual CE decks 🤔

MH3 was the last straw for me, I don't even feel the need to buy anything. Set, Collector, precons, none of it. Prices for 90% of the cards will tank in a few weeks. It's good to watch others opening though.
Limited is fun, did a prerelease and might draft but that's about it for me
Every set's single prices will tank as it's opened. It's always a better financial decision to buy singles.

Just picked up my regular eldrazi Incursion. Costed 99.95AUD, their early bird price I guess. The sticker price when I picked it up is now $149.95. Collector's still on the way.

Is there any difference in card treatment or are all the card the same version in all the boxes (with the obvious distinction between collectors and normal edition)
Only difference is the contents of the collector booster sample pack.

@@MTGUnpacked I was shocked to find it at that price too. My local lgs was lucky to have some collector ones remaining on the weekend. Picked up the Tricky terrain collector for $229AUD. I thought to resort to an ebay listing that has gone over 399AUD that finishes tomorrow night at 9pm for the Eldrazi. Saved myself a big chunk for the most sought after MH3 commander deck.
