My tips on driving a lowered car. More for entertainment purposes. It changes for every car and every obstacle. Changes based on bagged or static, tucking or poking, stretched or meaty tires.. EVERYTHING MATTERS. There is no one way to drive slammed. You need to find what works best for YOU!

The most awkward thing for a lowered car driver is when you are at a four way stop or 2 way, and you need the angle but someone is in the way and you just look at them like “no you go” because they literally have no clue the tactical formation you have to perform just to get in the store lot 😂

Honestly I'm a function over form guy but it takes some major dedication to slam a daily driver. I think they're awesome to see but I just couldn't live with one so props to you.

Static is ideal for competitive track but not for daily driving unless your willing to go through all this BS just to clear a 1 inch bump in the road.
Just bought my first car today and its slammed to the floor 😭 Im still not pro at driving manual so its been hard asf driving it. I live on a hill with a tiny steep driveway w my moms car parked there too and its impossible to not scrape 😶
@@blkeclipsel2400 This is not ideal for track because there is no suspension stabilty. He’d need to build a new suspension setup and run protective plates underneath.

This helped me so much! I have a very steep driveway and always had SUVs so I didn't think about it until I brought my new car home and scraped every time in and out of my driveway.

I bought my 04 Impreza wagon at Pismo Beach, drove it to Vegas and man the speed bumps going into the parking deck was brutal!! Made it home to Alabama, and now it’s just ankle deep pot holes!

I respect the build bro, but I just cant imagine having my car that low, it's stresses me out enough as low as I got it.
I lowered my daily but I hate stupidly lowered and slammed cars. I just lowered it by 4cm and I have round bumpers so no lips and stuff that could scrape. Even in steep hills I never scraped it.

I got a few quotes to get a chain link fence installed in my back yard ranging from $4-5k. I decided to do some homework, rent some tools, buy the materials and spent 8 hours out of my weekend. I spent 1500 dollars after buying the materials, renting the tools, and a couple stops at the beer store. And I have never built a fence.
A person who likes to work on their own cars can easily do a good job installing some bags. Just take your time. The hard part is routing the air hoses and cables cleanly. Otherwise you slap the struts in and take it to the shop to get it aligned.
I didn’t notice all these bumps on roads till I lowered my car,highways city back roads intersections railroad crossing etc I scrape some times not to bad and I’m 4in from the ground

@@Workrategetschingy Almost every road in my city has more drastic elevation changes than that. That was indeed a terrible example of a speed bump.
It's not geometry it's laws of physics. You come up to bumps at a 45 degree angle. If the car is perpendicular to the bump or you drive directly at it, it will scratch the bottom. If the car goes up the bump parallel like parking in a drive way it will not scratch. That's because the wheels have more surface area on the side and give the car more leverage.

Sacrificing so much comfort for looks.. just no.. but that might just be me. I think lowered cars do look a bit better, but as soon as the tyre starts getting cut off by the wheelhouse it just looks shit in my opinion. Destroys the whole geometry of the vehicle.
Or even when they pull out the axle to pop out the wheels definitely one of my petpeevs. May as well call the ones who lower in the first place a ricer

I may sound really dumb when I say this but this is just my suggestion. If you want to drive this low, you can install hydraulic system so when the time is right, you activate it so wouldn't have to enter your driveway at a certain angle or dodge potholes like a madman.

the speedbumps where i live is 3 times as large, they were made for busses driving to fast (it was a big problem) but they made em like ¨__----__----__¨. the busses can just ride over them no problem and this is only a pain in the ass for everybody without a suv.
