It really hits home for several reasons, the biggest of which is how relatable it is to a blue collar working white southern man.

The man is 81 now. I'm not, and have never been a fan of DAC because of his lifestyle and his mouth, but as a capable musician and songwriter, that he is. The man has had a hard hard life, and that is something that people think is cool, but its not cool. Its hard. I hope and pray that DAC finds Christ before God takes him out of this world, so he can finally find the real peace his broken heart longs for.
