    Here is a timelapse of the Prey Predator I did. Total time of work was 4:11:06 . I recorded the full process but I condense it down to 18 minutes. Hope you enjoy!

    Wonderful job. I always admire artists who can work with Z-brush like you do. I have been playing around with Z-brush, but i always get lost in the menu's 😂. So i did most of my sculpting in Mudbox in the past. Witch of cause is much more limited. Lucky i discovered Blender with it's sculpting option. This gave me the opportunity to make equal quality sculpts, but for me easier to work with. Never the less, great work here.👍👍👍

    Even though at the end, the final renders don't show the full length of the legs, my only complain is that the legs are a little to short for the rest of the body. Other than that, this is a wonderfull piece of art! It looks so awesome!

    • @FrancoCarlesimoArt
      @FrancoCarlesimoArt  Рік тому +13

      that is fine, and probably true, but if you are doing something that is not going to show some part of the body, then don´t spend to much on that part. Work smart :) There is almost no work done on his back :P jeje

    Quite impressive modeling technique, very nice!! Do you do anything to maximise detail in areas without a performance hit, i.e. Keep the head separate to the body so it can be subdivided more? I prefer to keep heads separate as it allows for more detail without sundividing the whole piece, but I find this causes a seam at the neckline or wherever you split it.
    Great work anyway, have a sub!

    • @FrancoCarlesimoArt
      @FrancoCarlesimoArt  Рік тому

      thank you, if its going to be a statue, usually yes, its always better to have the head separated from the body. If he is not wearing any cloth, you will have a seam there. so you try to do the cut as clean as posible. But one other way is if you have the head attached to it, you can mask it, and give it a subdivition , it will create triangles at the conection point but they are not that destructive. Then every time you subdive, you will always have more polys on the face than on the body, Some times I do this with the heads and the hands.
