hello, what do you recommend to someone who wants to start learning 3D modeling. my goal is to make amazing horror characters for video games, but I'm lost on where to start. I've been overwhelmed with what software to use ect.
Hey. If you are just starting and you don´t have a budget, I would recomend to start with Blender, there is a really big community there and a lot of tutorials. And you can do more than just sculpting. If you do have a budget, I would go start with Zbrush, that is the industry standar. That is what you see here. But also start using blender to start undertanding how it works, cos you can do things there than can´t be done in Zbrush.
@@FrancoCarlesimoArt is there any videos or courses you recommend? I will get started on blender than get zbrush hopefully next month because of budgeting.

Awesome work Franko!!! Quick question; How far do you usually push the polycount for a sculpt like this???
Thanks, well, since its going to be for 3d printing, nathing to crazy, you can see the polycount in the upper right corner, usually I don´t go over 5 mill, but then that gets decimated to under 1 mill each part for printing. Hope that helps!

¿Utilizas goB o te reconoce el atributo de color (el homologo del polypaint en blender) directamente del archivo importado?
Utilice el GoB, y cuando hice el decimateado deje el "keep polypaint" activado

Excelente Franco, viendo el resultado suponía Z, Substance, Blender y a lo sumo PS, pero me sorprendiste con no pasar por Substance y AE en lugar de PS. Pero como se sabe, todas son herramientas y el maestro hace lo que hace gracias a su conocimiento y no a las herramientas ;)

How you create timelapse video with undo history with more than one subtools?
I use a software call OBS studio to record the screen. And then I edit the video to make it go faster and skip the less intereting or repetitive task.
