Imus in the Morning, 66 WNBC - 1988

Recorded Several weeks before the end of WNBC radio. Interesting that here in the 8am hour, one 45 minute cassette side reveals that Imus played only one song, but had expanded the sports segment. Lots of news items - listen to Imus rant about his disdain for then Democratic party candidate Michael Dukakis... Imus was for Jesse Jackson!
You'll hear a very upbeat sounding Charles McCord doing news. IMHO, McCord was the best anchor in the business, bar none. Also, tons of commercials. Despite being near the end of it's time as a radio station, WNBC was very sold out. Commercials left in for historical value.
