- If you've ever found yourself in the incredibly stressful position of having installed a rivet that didn't take (perhaps it went in crooked), perhaps you'll understand my delight in finding this tool! In this video, I will demonstrate how to quickly remove a rivet.

Does this remove traditiinal metal rivets from jeans that were installed by the manufacturer?
What a great tool. Do you know how to remove those plastic snaps cause I have struggled to remove it when I press too hard and they cannot close.

Hi Sara! Do you know if this will remove rhinestone rivets too? I regularly have to remove damaged rivets, rhinestone and raised fancy ones, from denim. I use jaw type pliers and metal cutters but having a tool like the one you showed would be a time saver!

My daughter gave me a beautiful wallet for a gift, but it has magnetic snap on it. Do you have a technique to removing them? Thank you
I did some research and found this info: Slide a flathead screwdriver under the magnetic snap. Pry the snap upward slightly. Look closely and you will see two prongs folded through openings in the magnetic snap backing. Use pliers to loosen these prongs and detach the snap. Repeat for the opposite half of the magnetic purse closure.
