We used to have the same kind of trailer. But we had a fifth wheel hitch instead of the trailer hitch. And we used it to haul vehicles around to the track. And yes the vehicles are street legal. And we had it for a few month's until we sold it for a car hauler that can hold 3 vehicles and stuff underneath it. And it work's way better and easy to get to the vehicles. Instead of having to get my youngest kid's to bring the vehicles in.
Wow! Your experience loading flat-beds will help reduce the yaw on the truck. Unlike Orwell, the Hemi will get pushed around more by the load and wind. May it safely carry lots of stuff, lots of miles. Blessings.
I filmed this quite some time ago. The first load put that trailer at 21,000. I have a weight distribution hitch for it and used it when loaded. It handled it quite nicely the 1,900 mile trip. But yes, you must respect the weight and the limitations of the towing vehicle.
Wow Steve you may want to use Orwell to pull that trailer fully loaded with truck and trailer with both fully loaded you may be at the 80 thousand pound weight
@@fscspeedshop512 wow I thought gross weight of the trailer empty would be 10 to 15 thousand pounds by its self bit to he 28 thousand loaded is pretty good
Was it just the camera angles or is the top like dented about a foot down from top . like I said maybe camera angles but she sure is a big girl and if not loaded right she would be a swinging and swaying big girl going down the road . But safe travels and keep the videos coming
Dang it's definitely a huge trailer. Bet she hauls a lot! But the thing is, nothing can move the new Hemi, except Mr. Beefy. Not sure how those V10s pull, might have a little trouble.
Don’t mean to be nosey but how did pulling them two cars in that trailer with that SRW work out? Looking at a similar set up, curious how it’s gone for others
The first load in that trailer was my parents household items moving them. The trailer weighed 21,000 lbs loaded. It did good but was a bit nose heavy. I used Equalizer 14k weight distribution bars to settle it down. I weighed it at a CAT Scale and was 100 lbs each over the rear tires weight specs. It handled good however. As for hauling the RZR and Jeep with that set up it did awesome at speeds in excess (briefly) over 80 mph. I put slightly larger tires on it for the added weight. However I also desire to get a slide in "truck camper". That with the trailer is too heavy. I traded that truck in. Here it is currently available at the dealership. www.bergstromauto.com/VehicleDetails/used-2021-Ram-2500-Tradesman-Kaukauna-WI/5485428010
@@fscspeedshop512 just saved me alot of money on a dually with that report I have a 14 3500 cummins and was looking into a similar trailer as a two car hauler, originally from the same manufacturer, but could find very little info on how they drive and tow with a srw Appreciate it
That’s a pretty sweet trailer. You could have a party in that beast!
One day. For now it's moving and storage.

Very nice Trailer 👌 definitely should do the job. Safe travels back to Jersey.
A dually is a pain at times, but it would be the hot ticket pulling that trailer. No worries, I would baby sit Orwell while you were on a trip!
Love it,IT'S GREAT.
GOD BLESS Y'ALL...

28,000 was the gross loaded with my parents stuff.

Nice. Cars, bikes, everything. I imagine that truck will burn some fuel, tho. Best of luck.
7.5 mpg average 28,000 lb gross at 65-70 mph

What is the website of the dealership that you bought your trailer from?
When that thing’s loaded, you’ll be pretty heavy. Curious what your RAM’s payload capacity is.
I bought my 24 footer from Douglas Ga.
Wow that thing is a beast. Might need to find a f350 with the 7.3 Godzilla v8 to tow that big bastard!!
6.4 Hemi gets it done
@@fscspeedshop512 Mopar or no car, or truck in this case!
Officially a enclosed hot shot driver😄
and I shall call her Big momma. congrats on trailer!!
Naming it "The Toy Box"
@@fscspeedshop512 that works :) hauled one similar a few years back from TN>FL, big but nicely balanced.
You going to add an anti sway set up for being such a long trailer,Steve??😎
I have an Equalizer brand hitch same as my camper for it.
Safe travels….

Mr. Beefy hauled a full sized F-150 "Popcorn" from NJ to WI. Did quite well. That truck is a towing beast. I wish they still made them.
@@fscspeedshop512 Sweet. I didn't know how it would hold up, but sure glad it did. Me too actually, those v10s were pretty sweet on the ears.
Why not a gooseneck trailer?
I need to tow it with other vehicles and a motorhome.

What ply tires you running
If I remember right it was around 3,800 lbs per tire on 7k axles (x3)
Probably China bombs. Need some G rated Sailun’s.
