- Throughout History there were many execution methods used, some which were incredibly brutal. In the Medieval and Tudor period, the Kings of England used hanging, drawing and quartering. Throughout the Roman period, animals were used in the ruthless ordeals, and some of the methods such as gibbeting saw people every day pass under the bodies of the condemned. This is the most brutal execution methods in History part 1.

In Lynton on Exmoor in South West England, in 1962, renovations were carried out on a small cottage in Queen Street. Which is now the Exmoor Museum. When removing a length of Wooden paneling in an upstairs room, a door was discovered to a hidden room. Inside the room was found a huge number of Taxidermied animals and birds. A section of wooden paneling was found to be loose, so workmen removed it to fix it. Underneath the paneling, to their horror, they found the body of a child Immunerated behind the Paneling. There was said to be a ghost of a Nanny, who walked along the street outside the cottage, but after the body was found, reports of the Ghost Nanny stopped. The child's body was buried in the local Parish Church of St Mary's in Lynton.

But the Romans put a perverse twist to their crucifixion and made it standard (although not all were according to standard): they would nail a person to his pole and transom but then the executioner would place a pointed spike or extra-large thorn that was meant for the crucified to seek purchase on when his leg muscles were exhausted --- the result was the crucified would press his own "wound" and hang stretched-out (and impaled) on the gibbet. (Seneca Younger, Moral Epistles 101.19-14)
Naturally he would want to stand again both to clear the thing and to relieve the excruciating pain in his arms and shoulders. This starts a cycle whereby the crucified would subject himself to the most grossly indecent torture.
Proof? That fellow who was crucified in Roman Britain was certainly subjected to it something similar. The pelvis of his skeleton suffered a circular break around its base and the portion inside the circle is missing! 😳
After 5 minutes I had to turn it off. The narrating was so horrible I couldn't stand it anymore.First I can barely understand him, and second the way he told the story it was irritating as hell.

True, but not like nature isn’t brutal. When chimpanzees attack each other or humans, they rip off faces, eyes, fingers, other “appendages.” If they were going for a quick fatality, they to go for throats, etc. but instead choose horrific but not immediately fatal damage. Bird species often lay 1 more egg than the average parents can feed, so the weakest hatchling starves or is tossed out of the nest by its siblings, some animals SA, rodents will abandon or eat babies if there is low food or otherwise a bad environment, and plenty more.

The elephant is guided..trained some what to follow react to prompts via a handler.
The animal isn't extremely violent for no apparent reasoning. Animals of the wild learn that energy that one holds is sacred to the animal.
