This song had some of the catchiest melodies out of all the battle themes for me. I was really excited going into working on the new album to take on this one so I actually saved it for one of the last ones I did. I especially loved all the charcter motifs leading up to it. I tried to figure out how to do something with those but couldn't figure out anything for the album. Who knows! Maybe if the album does really well I can release an EP of all of them in the future!
We filmed this in one of my favorite filming locations over the span of two days. It was really rough since sunsets have been REALLY fast lately. We filmed all of the close ups and then immediately when we finished, the sunset like instantly and we had to wait til the next day to shoot the wide angles. Really worth it though! I think the sunrise looked great in the vid!

Then you see exactly what he means by "cling" and it becomes nightmare fuel.
Seriously, why was that the only final boss fight to have voiced banter? They could have easily voiced Therion and Darius's banter as well, and maybe added some for Primrose and Simeon as well.

And it’s the only one where the boss and main character get spoken dialogue IN the battle...

I’m curious about the game because this music is hella good. That’s actually how I got into Zelda-the Hyrule Market cover from Year 3. But I can’t justify that expense right now. So I will just stare lovingly at Her Majesty, that beautiful purple guitar.

Dude. I *need* more of this. I'd actually buy the album if I can a afford it and Ultimate, but what we've already got from you is amazing. Octopath is probably the best game I've every played and the soundtrack just makes it all the more amazing.

Best battle intro in the game imo. The Battle Theme II intro was pretty good also though.
Strictly in terms of intros, I actually like Decisive Battle 1's intro the best.
