As a trumpet player (not a good one, but well-trained nevertheless) and long-time church choir member, I know that there is a huge difference between playing notes on a page, and playing music. Lots of people can play notes on a page. To play music, you have to feel it. You sir, are playing MUSIC! Well done.
Wow!! How old is this young man? He plays like he has played for 30+ years, and yet looks like he might have been alive for 18 years. Such feeling, such skill and emotion from someone so young…what a gift from God this must be.
for what it's worth, I have been around a LOT of great guitarists and have done shows for and with all of them. You have to FEEL the music, which you do.
Beautiful, extremely beautiful. As well as your playing that this music is really great and Harry's arrangement is fantastic. After this I will appreciate Harry as arranger still more than before. It seems to me that your playing comes here very deep from inside you, and I feel it very deep inside me. This is the kind of playing which I appreciate enormously, and this performance does not need singing because your playing tells all the beauty.
Like Wow , talk about going on a journey . Some years back i came across this fresh faced young man who really blew me away with his truly awesome skills and natural talent with his guitar. Years have gone by since then and i have not ever been disappointed in any of his many performances i have witnessed on youtube or facebook . I can not talk any more highly of Quentin and his achievements thus far but hope he goes onto the level of stardom he so deservedly deserves :-)
Hi Quentin. This is sooo beautiful. I really love your performance. One of my favourite song and the arrangement is the right thing for you. You play with so much feeling. I can watch your video 100 times. Thank you for the wonderful musical moment. Regina
That was absolutely mesmerising, just sooo beautiful. You are getting so relaxed on stage, it's lovely to see! Take care Quentin :D Cheerz from Len :-)
That was so great. Really beautiful! I saw Trace last night and passed on your greetings. His first comment was "How the heck do you know Quentin?". You were right - his show was super and what a nice guy. We visited for a half hour after the show because I hope to put something together with him and Sungha in Dallas next year. Exciting stuff!
Creo que entre la infinidad de músicos guitarristas ,la expresión es quien hace la diferencia. Y este chico la tiene. Pues la técnica es en muchos casos ,clásica a menos que sea un autor el intérprete.
Genie !
Magical
The interpretive talent of this performance is outstanding.

What a gorgeous arrangement. Well played, kiddo, very strong! ♪♫♪
The arrangement is by Harry Sacksioni a Dutch guitar master, featured on his debut album called "gitaar" ( guitar in Dutch) from the late 70s.
