quando encontrei o joey e o stu no lado de fora do olympia theatre em dublin (2018) eles disseram nao ter data pra vir pra ca. imagino que a fanbase nao seja grande o suficiente por aqui

I don’t blame any bands who sell virtual tickets during a pandemic unless they’re largely known or famous. That said King Gizz are world champs of making their fans happy.

@@alakovideo yeah theyre still going through flightless at least a little bit, and i believe most people are thinking the LW vinyls are delayed until they know they can guarantee a timely delivery to avoid what happened with KG (months of delays, no vinyl for those who ordered any)
King Gizzard and the Lizard Wizard is probably the most important band in music today. I'm not even a really huge fan of theirs, but I can assure anyone reading this, they will teach classes on this band 50 years from now.

Look into Osees, they're extremely relevant today for almost completely different reasons. Osees was partially an inspiration for King Gizzard along with many other great bands.

As a drummer, one of my favorites moments in this show is during KGLW when there's the break and the drummer starts the toms slow and quiet. Everyone else leans in, walks over, listens hard for when he starts the snare that launches them into the next heavy section. I love that.

This is honestly so nice of them that it made me cry, which I rarely do. Ya see, my dad used to take me to free concerts all the time when I was younger. Whenever a band decided to do something nice for the fans and put on a free show, we'd always take advantage of it and go. Unfortunately, he tragically died a few years ago by falling into a shit filled toilet. Gizz putting on this free show helps me remember him :')

am i 100% these guys are one of, if not the most incredible bands out at the moment. i cant think of a band with such a consistently great output, progressive environmental/political stances, and kick-ass live shows as the boys here. genuinely so lucky to be able to experience these guys grow and thrive as a band!
