Koraxus They were not using microtones. They were heavily inspired by anatolian lands as they living in it and also using traditional instruments. But absolutely not microtones.

In terms of lyrics, I think this is my favorite King Gizzard song. I love the theme and it's beautifully written. Who hasn't ever experienced this "sleep drifting" ? Being in that in-between state when you're not quite asleep but not quite awake either, just before truly falling asleep or just before truly waking up and anything you can think of, your mind makes it happen (close to lucid dreaming). I just love it. And musically speaking it's perfect, too.

tbh I hate that state. Especially when I'm in class, get fully woken and start looking around for Mum's dinner that I was dreaming of.

Ben de isterim Bektaşilerin Sami Efendi gibi büyüklerin nağmeleri eserleri orijinalce tekrardan el atılmasını fakat ya bir curlama ya da bir bass, bomboş bir ritim üstüne dökülen kelimeler ancak uyarır olmuş insanları. i google image searched the venue in detroit .... its a hole . if you are traveling to see the band def come to chicago just on it being safe and friendly . detroit is a rough town and the metro is a killer nice venue with a massive pa sound system . o contest no brainer chicago if you are trvelling . not saying seeing them in that tiny venue would be a bad thing but in the metro you have a balcony , you have proper security too . you also dont need to worry as its a nice hood in chicago by the metro but i tend to worry more now that i am a bit older . to be honest detroit scares me but i drive thru the west side of chicago often . i have heard baaaad things about detroit but i can tell you the metro hood is very safe .

    When I'm sleep drifting
I can know you're right here
And I can catch your crying tear
We can be so close, dear
    When I'm sleep drifting
I can feel you touch me
And I can hear you breathing
    Please no one wake me
    When I'm sleep drifting
    Sleep drifter, sleep drifter
    Sleep drifter, sleep drifter
    Sleep drifter, sleep drifter
    Sleep drifter, sleep drifter
I can feel you touch me...
And I can hear you breathing...
    Please no one wake me...
    When I'm sleep drifting

That's the great thing about King Gizzard, they continue to impress me. It's a trend going 3 albums strong at this point. I haven't heard a single bad song in the past 2 years from them, they only get better.

I have no fucking clue what a microtone is, nor do I care to ever learn. All I know is that I enjoy this music and that it sounds good to me, and that's enough. Music to me is wholly an art, not a science. I respect those who love going into music theory and those who pick apart compositions to see how they work, but I know that's not for me.

    Lyrics
    Sleep drifter, sleep drifter
I can feel you touch me
And I can hear you breathing
    Please no one wake me
    When I'm sleep drifting
Drifting in and out of sleep
    Reality begins to fray
You'll become so close to me
    In a hotel far away
    Sleep drifter, sleep drifter
I can know you're right here
And I can catch your crying tear
We can be so close, dear
    When I'm sleep drifting
Drifting in and out of sleep
Is my favourite state to be
I can see you next to me
    And it is lovely
    Sleep drifter, sleep drifter

Being from the lands of these tunes and xzperiencing them through the music of people who are coming from a different cultural background, it's just amazing. I've been waiting for a Turkish band to do this for a long time now and it comes from Australia and I couldn't be happier. Love you guys, best album in decades.
In a similar case, you guys can check Selda Bağcan and her music with Boom Pam and Elijah Wood himself is in love with her, amazing stuff.

asude acar aşık veysel olabilir mi sevgili cahil?

    • @asudeacar
      @asudeacar 7 років тому +7

Berkay Celik :))) okumuyorsundur eminim. Aşık Veysel'i layıkıyla dinleyiniz. Verdiğiniz tepkilere göre hiç dinlememişsiniz. Ufkunuz açık olsun sevgiler.
