@@Vengeance_I_m Asmon's approach to the game is fairly smooth brained hilariously. In the base game two years ago all he'd do it use two halves for a jump L2. Now in the DLC, he used the fingerprint shield for guard counters. He did both for everything in the content it was made for.
it's funny how they're still using the same ol attack animations. coming from ds2 the head ram attack is exactly the same as the Royal Rat's Authority and the bite attack where the Hippo chomps to its sides seems to be the same one that Sulyvahn's Beasts use in ds3
What are those weapons called btw I been looking to try a duel wield build just started playing beat game once with no armor strat but was insanely hard considering it’s my first souls game
@@catsans8667 yea the second playthrough so far has definitely been much easier considering the amount of time I spent learning every move of every boss from dying LOL it’s like choreography and that made it so much easier definitely looking forward to playing the other souls soon as done with this NG+

Craft some blood pots that cause your summon to be more agro. May help.

I liked the fight, but I can see why you would hate it.
This fight is better than 90% of ds1

Do bosses in the DLC get stronger every newgame+?
Should be the case though i’m doing the dlc on ng+ and from my current experience, almost every boss can kill me in around 2-4 hits.
