Run With Me: 12 Mile Windmill Run

- This is an easy paced, 12 mile, mostly flat run I like to do to get some good miles in. It’s only 945 ft elevation gain.
This is the first time in several months that I have done this run, and I have to say, it felt really good.
Just a note, I have been doing smaller runs the last couple weeks and built up to 12 miles.
If you’re new here, I am primarily a thru hiker who likes to run on the side. With thru hiking, I have a good endurance base and can get to a 12 mile run fairly quickly after a month break from running and hiking.
I don’t recommend this for most people. I’m always a fan of starting slow and low mileage and then assessing from there how far and fast you can build up.
