Yes! The Koninklijke Landmacht combat jacket! Nice. Funny to hear you say 'Koninklijke Landmacht', but not bad 😄. Same size as mine 😂. 8000 - 0005 means hight 180 to 200 centimeter and chest between 100 and 105 cm. Do you also have the button-in winter liner? Rank was worn on the shoulders. The same jacket als exists in plain green for civilian personel, in mtp, in desert dpm and in jungle camouflage. I like the woodland DPM best! There is also a later dutch DPM smock with stow away hood and rank on the front and an extreme wet weather bi-laminate parka in DPM.
Ha ha ! ..I bet I butchered that Dutch phrase !! lol.. I did try my best though !! lol 😂 I do have the liner.. a dark green furry looking nylon item and very warm which buttons in underneath the membrane as you know ! ..I also have the hood.. and the wet weather jacket.. sadly lost to the corners of my attic for now !! lol.. I love these jackets the best out of my DPM collection.. awesome !!
Keep your cold weather my friend but the smock looks great. I always love seeing your collection and thank you for sharing it with us. Take care and have a blessed week Andy.
Hello my friend and buddy Jimmy good morning, thank you for this beautiful sharing, interesting, full watched have a great day friend 🥰🥰😍😍❤❤❤love you Jimmy
It looks better than the American camo. The snap button on the cuffs is way better than velcro. Speaking of Amsterdamn I did Nijmegen March when i was in Germany. Its one of the best times ever. Cheers!
That's awesome bro ! I do love the Woodland M81 BDU's though as well.. I have a dozen of them in my collection.. some Raid modified ..and some just plastered in patches from the era.. Airforce, Navy and Army ! That march sounds superb !! ..I'd probably drop down gawn if I attempted anything further than the tab to the local shop now !! lol Cheers my friend !!
Yes my old Dad got about a bit ! lol.. he went to Vietnam, Lagos, Singapore.. like an old shoe !! lol ..he even toured the States !! lol.. he was like a management trainer that wanted to be in a band !! lol X
Well ..even though your maple leaf seems to be standing on its head !! ..I guess some good folk would prefer my DPM ! ..and blessings for that !! Which smock in DPM do you have !? ..they started in 1960 and went on to about 2000 ..well my favourite is the 1960 half lined jacket.. never liked the trousers.. wore them as a cadet in the CCF ! lol Thanks for watching !!
Dang -9 is warming up?!?!? Brrrr 🥶❄️🥶. I love your passion for Dutch people. I would love to see the tulips in Holland. I enjoyed hanging with you and soaking in your passion for army gear. Enjoyed the full 7:40. I checked out your friend Rut. You can tell he has a good heart. This coat looks great to keep you warm in that -9 weather. I am so curious if you are going to open a museum..lol Do you wear the gear or just enjoy wearing them. That is crazy that your dad went to Holland that many times!! Crazy. Well give Jimmers a love pat for me. Sending love and warm wishes.
Ha ha ! ..yes its been a cold one here in the mountaind this winter.. loads of snow !! Yeah I love Holland.. the country is so full of interesting places ! Thanks for checking out Rut's channel.. he's a great bloke and a heart of gold ! I wanted to open a museum.. but it never materialised. I do wear some of my militaria.. but nothing that would suggest stolen valor ! I tend to stick to a few items that keep me warm and allow me to see more of nature blended into the terrain !! Blessings and love right back atcha ! X
Hey my friend how are you doing today hope all is well animals are great love the jacket wow looks great thanks for sharing have a bless dat and stay connected cheers
Cool jacket Andy - it's got some nice touches. Yeah, the DPM is good and you'd hope useful. I was checking out the dates on your dad's passport. He was active over there late 60's early 70's. How cool to be over there as a kid - parties yet to come. Well, good going old mate. All the best for the week ahead. Mark
Hey Mark bro ! ..yeah I love these Dutch DPM's .. the fact that the 'crinckly' layer is below the cloth is clever too ..Didn't our lads wear their 'crisp packet' jackets under the smocks too ?!! Yeah I was spoilt rotten for travel with my Dad back in the 1970's.. went to Italy too as a tiny kid.. awesome !! You have an awesome week ahead as well dear friend ! ..blessings and best wishes as always Mark mate !! Andy
@@JimTimber Hey, you know your gear Andy. I can't even remember Crinckly layers. Ah, so good the travel. You must miss your dad bless him. Cheers old mate.
@@WyeExplorer I thinks about him every singlr day bro !! ..Blessings to you dear friend !! Have an awesome week !! ..I had dental surgery today (another tooth bites the dust !! lol).. so I'm feeling sorry for myself !! lol
@@JimTimber I've always been a bit concerned about damaging any wet weather clothing if i'm in woodland or doing something that might cause damage to it.( and it won't work if it gets holes in it !) I often don't wear waterproofs if in these situations, and sometimes i've worn lighter rain wear under work clothing as a compromise.
Jimmy is too cute. You’re having a heat wave. Haha. I love the Netherlands as well Andy. It’s more than just weed and tulips though. Haha. Wow your dad has gone to the Netherlands a lot. Nice jacket. Stay warm guys.
Yes Holland is a wonderful country ! I used to go there a lot as a kid. My Dad worked there at least three time a year for four decades ! Hope you are well Mike bro !
People call it dutch but it's a direct copy of an earlier version of the British dpm, look at early tropicals and you'll see the same pattern as your jacket

Good afternoon Sir. 🫡
My DPM smock and rain smock are both British, but I have Dutch DPM shirts. I feel they are equal to the British as far as pattern.

@ I bet you do Andy - me to my old fella. Hey, hope the chops are feeling better today.
I like the idea that they put the 'delicate' goretex on the inside, where the outer jacket protects it.
Thanks for watching ! ..yes also Gore-Tex is much noisier in the rain than cloth.. if soldiers are trying to stay concealed.

hello my friend great video
Thank you very much John bro ! Have an awesome week ahead !!
The Dutch have updated their camo to the so called Netherlands Fractal Pattern, a huge improvement to their older DPM camp.
Hey Al bro ! ..yes I spotted that.. the NFP green variant looks a little like Flecktarn.. another awesome camo pattern !!

Thanks for watching ! Yes it was based on the 1960 pattern DPM British jackets.. but the camo pattern is modified on the Dutch variant .
@JimTimber always watch your stuff bud, love it. The only difference with the dutch version is it's a little darker than the brit dpm
@@leemuir2514 I really appreciate that my friend ! Have an awesome rest of week !!
