Me.
After being natural for 3 and a half years, I relaxed my hair last next. I'm so happy with the results. I totally understand.
I agree, I’ve been natural for over 5 years. I’m over it.....As I’m sitting here deep conditioning my newly relaxed 4a/4b hair. Love It 😍
I relaxed 6 months ago. Best decision
LMAO SAME

Gorgeous relaxed hair ponytail 😻 so cute!❣️ new subbie ❣️
Thanks for subbing!
What I know is that if ever someone get to create a cream said to be "straighting cream 100% natural and healthy no toxines, to straighten natural hair" 95% of natural women will ran to it. Why? because though we are trying to wear the natural hair, we all know deep inside it's work and straight hair it easy and quick to manage and less painful. We love our hair but also want hair easy to handle. we keep it in our heart.
Yep, perfectly said!
Exactly.
Ur right
That’s called a blow out and silk press. I do them often.
Facts!
Naturals hate relaxers but it would save them from all that detangling they hate so much. Great results 🌹
I’m natural now but relaxed my hair for 40+ years. I love my natural hair now & wish I went natural years ago. Folks have to do what works for them. No hate....where did you get such a ridiculous notion that naturals hate relaxers?
I mean the detangling can be annoying, but I'll take it over a chemical that can eat through a can of coke
@@bumblebee4024 Because a lot of naturals bash women who choose to not go natural and stay relaxed or women who are natural and made a choice to relax thier hair. The comments that some of these natural hair police be leaving under woman who relaxed their hair videos is ridiculous. Some of them come off as being very rude and very shady when it's not even their business if someone else chooses to relax their hair or not. It gets on my nerves and I'm natural.
Detangling is EASY when you keep up with your hair and your ends trimmed.
I was so against natural hair. I even made a video about how I would never go natural 😂 Now I've been natural for two years and it's easier for me to take care of. It did take awhile though so I can see why you would want to go back if you haven't found your holy Grail products.
Glad to hear you're enjoying it!😀
I’m going to relax soon as well, I found good products and I’ve been natural for about four years. I love my natural hair and the curls but it’s so long and thick now that it takes way too much time.
This was a good video!! I was transitioning but I quit after a year and relaxed my hair 2 days ago. My sister did it but whatever she was doing the relaxer barley took my hair when in the past it used to do really well. Maybe because my hair was so matted when she did it lmao. The next go around I’ll do it myself using your method :)
Glad to be watching . Been contemplating for 2 months if I should relax . I’m tired of dealing with my hair and I think a relaxer would be easier to deal with .
Thanks for watching! It’ll be easier but you’ll need a good routine to keep it moisturized and prevent breakage!
AllThingsJess that’s true .
“I can feel my scalp!” Is exactly what I say whenever I finish washing the relaxer out! Feels so different 😂 thank you for posting this video! I need to learn how to do it myself like you have here. my mom does it for me but she’s getting tired of it lol
I love it! I tried a lye relaxer for the first time yesterday, I was so nervous! It wasnt what I expected at all, no burning whatsoever and my hair came out so good! Your hair looks fabulous!
Yess I was def shocked, I'm loving it too! I'm glad we both had a great experience!
Beautiful either way 🤗🥰💯
I’ve been natural for 8 years and I’m relaxing my hair next week! I’m so excited! The way my life schedule is set up, I just don’t have the time and patience for my natural hair.
Ur relaxer turn out great
♥️♥️♥️Cant wait for relaxer videos
I think Im gonna relax my leave out cus why not this quarantine boring AF😩. It will grow out in a few months and we still be here in quarantine 😭😂🙄 loving these natural to relaxed vids your hair cute cute 😍
I just texlaxed not long ago. Love it!! 😃
you have any favorite hair products?
AllThingsJess I really like the elasta qp olive oil and mango butter. It’s a great moisturizer.
Ayonnaz Glam I’ll have to check it out!
You relaxed it.
Mickey XOXO yeah but I left some texture in it. Didn’t want it bone straight 🙂
It's nice to see more relaxed haired ladies!
Oh yes!💕
Looks good
Im natural and this is sooooooo tempting omg I hate the process of pressing flat ironing and blow dying 🤦🏽♀️
The only people who enjoy being natural are those with 4a and 4b hair especially those who are mixed. For us who have 4C hair... it’s a struggle. You don’t have to be natural... you can do whatever you want with your hair. I have made the best decision relaxing my hair last month and I don’t regret.
Yeah this isn’t true. There are thousands of people with 4c hair (myself included) who enjoy having it. Relaxed hair is beautiful too and a great option for those who don’t enjoy taking care of coils, but there are plenty of people that do enjoy it.
That isn't true. I am not mixed and have 4a but I have been natural before the natural hair movement started. Some people go natural for the wrong reasons.
Looks nice. Was your hair blow dried/out when you started relaxing
Probably not, most likely just stretched from an old style.
Girl we need the edge tutorial!
lol:)
😢😢😢😢😢
I'm upset
It's all good
You do you Ma'am
Relaxed or natural hair, it will grow if you know how to care for it. Natural hair does take twice as long to maintain than does relaxed hair.
Watch Seun first y'all
For real!😊
I like it. Try the ponytail roller set then wrap to avoid flat ironing.
thank you! I definitely was thinking about trying it again, I'm sure it will come out a lot better this time!
Can I wash my hair with the neutralizing shampoo from my relaxer ??
ofc
I wouldn't advise that. Get a calcifying shampoo if you have buildup, then follow up with a moisturizing shampoo and conditioner.
Yes that’s why they gave it to you. It also helps you know if you still have relaxer in your hair
Shammah Emmanuel no I mean like use the neutralizing shampoo as my shampoo ?
Kimberlee Houston-Realtor White okkkk thank you
I wanne do the same for the fist time do You have tips for me ❤️? Cause this naturel hair thing is alot of work And detangelig
I honestly recommend going to a professional if you’re not familiar with the process.
But I understand I was there with you hair still beautiful ❤❤
i really want to relax my hair again but im just so fearful of the burning, ptsd lmao.
lol it actually didn't burn as much as I thought!
Use no lye kits relaxers for sensitive scalp. Those are easier on the scalp.
my hair still curls up after i relaxed it😩
If you wanted to relax your hair just say that then sis lol but saying ‘natural hair styles don’t last.” is a strrrrrrrerch 🤣.I’m going to still like the video but you were really reaching here ❤️
Lol thanks for the support girl! Ehh I don’t think it’s a reach at all if we’re talking about truly natural styles. We all have different preferences as to the hairstyles we enjoy.
Right!
Your hair was flat ironed when u relaxed your hair ?
nah.
Back when i used the “hair crack” I never relaxed my ends...then again my ends were already straight 🤷🏽♀️
I'm happy someone said it. You're not supposed to pull it to the ends. That's how the hair becomes over processed. From what I've seen, some professionals pull it to the ends just before it's time to rinse it out at. Not all the time though it depends on the hair. Her hair is over processed. She shouldn't have relaxed her ends at all. I forsee her cutting her hair off again.
thanks for informing those who are unaware of basic relaxer application! I probably will cut it off again just cause that's what I do, the great thing about hair is that it grows back(:
@@AllThingsJess
No problem. A lot of people aren't aware you're not supposed to pull it to the ends unless you're processing virgin hair or doing a corrective relaxer. Since the ends process faster than the roots and are very fragile ( like the hair line) . But you live and you learn. Happy hair journey.
She was natural going to relaxer her ends are supposed to relax itstouch up you dont relax the ends 🙄
Your hair looked relaxed already though🤷🏽♀️
whats your IG? i'd love to follow
I will never ever do that to my hair!!!
Good for you. But she did and it came out great.
girl u need to work on background music pls,,, but anyways nice video
Send me something! Thanks!
@@AllThingsJess you can use imovie, filmirago and more to get your videos well edited with sounds
Your hair did not need to be relaxed😬
Why not just become a straight natural sis?
I tried girl but it was still time consuming.
Hair looks thinner. The relaxer melted your hair strands.
That was the point!
Naaa, her hair looks great to me.
@@AllThingsJess right!💕
