This is Awesome !!! It needs to be shared a million times !!! Thank you PLL for this. Women's lacrosse is one of the fastest growing sports !!! My 16 year old daughter has been playing since she was 8 years old. I've seen the sport grow tremendously over the years. It really is her passion to play lacrosse.

Great to see this, I was wondering what happened to the women's game in the other Roots video, since they mentioned it once and never again.

I've said it before, you guys should have partnered with the WPLL before they had to disband.

100000%. And they can play with some or all of the Olympic rules, which would make it even more fast paced and tactical.
(And if they do so in the future, then maybe the players won’t be forced to play with the shitty Brine heads _(for sponsorship $$)_ and will therefore play with even more skill and precision.)

Listen, I love women's lacrosse. I just think some of these cliche slogans like "it becomes limitless" are by definition impossible. Not every sport can be limitless. There is a supply and demand problem. Additionally, the definition of equity is up in the air at this time in history... I think that what you perceive success to look like should be identified in the video. Do you mean equal number of viewers? equal number of kids playing (if so, at which level)? Does the ethnic makeup of the sport need to exactly reflect the nation in which it is being played (or should it just get closer)?
There are just so many vague platitudes in videos like this. I want a more diverse group of players that get more coverage (i.e. consumer demand) for women's lacrosse. Tell us about the programs to help make that happen, not the regulations. What voluntary organizations can be sponsored to encourage the sport? These sorts of things should be made into a separate video. Both for men and women.

As a former player and father of a daughter who played and now coaches lacrosse this video was educational and inspiring. Yet the short shrift of attention women's lacrosse received in you other video " Roots: Exploring the History of Lacrosse" ua-cam.com/video/JxM5mcuCR8M/v-deo.html shows how far things still need to go, even among those who promote and support the game.

The only part I didnt like was when they said its more difficult to cradle
Then men's lacrosse cuz if they wanted to add pockets then they would understand why we have pockets
