Does anyone else feel sad when watching a video and realizing the passage of time that has gone by...? I see life for everyone, myself included, of course, and it is sad. Remember to laugh, experience, and love to the fullest every day because what we know as life will soon be gone. Great video, delicious wine, and a sad mate. Lol
I am thoroughly relaxed after watching this, Pat. What a meal! I'm so glad you were able to get out before lockdown. Thanks for sharing your travels with us, take care.

Absolutely brilliant. Yorkshire Pudding Roast Beef and all the trimmings in the fields above Sheffield. Amazing...The audio was pretty good, actually. And the way you can spin a story with facts and details in a long stream of talk is really professional and natural. And the shot from in the tent (35 years old...) was great and atmospheric. Very rare do people show the nighttime experiences of camping...

Nice spending this time with you. Thanks for having us along. Yorkshire Pudding and RB is what my mother made for special occasions. One of our favorites. Good luck with the Covid and be careful. The US has had one million new cases confirmed in the last ten days. I have a week of camping in the mountains scheduled for January. Between the covid and Trump, I am not totally sure there will even be a January. I almost forgot: This is a really good video. I will watch it again on the 55" monitor.

Completely brilliant. Well done, a veritable feast for the senses. The taste of the food, the enjoyable sights, and the sounds of the wind against the tent. You've done it again. Never stop.
Thank you once again for a very enjoyable video. Glad to see your wonderful oven in use again. Now in the words of dear Brucy, "Didn't you do well!". My mouth watered, especially it was only pizza for tea. No doubt a number of folks were so impressed with your oven that they've made their own. I've only cooked fish 'n chips with peas with and a pizza in mine and I can tell you the fish n' chips were fantastic.Best wishes.
I think once you cook something in a oven that you built yourself, then yes, it's going to taste nice, the satisfaction of doing it yourself, thanks Pat
@@patrickdickinson6492 The oven very much reminds of cooking in an Aga or Rayburn. You check the thermometer and cook until done. You learn timings the more you use the oven. I guess that is your experience. Incidentally, my mother came from Sheffield. Best wishes.
Your videos always cheer me up! I love looking down at Sheffield from the countryside, best views ever. I hope you do a Tunnel explore soon, it's been ages!

Good morning from S8 Pat! We are making our way through all your videos and we love them. Thank you so much for all your efforts, we saw the video where you show us the thought and time that goes into making them, it really is much appreciated. We now walk past your Homebase bivvy spot regularly and I always do a sharp intake of breath when I think of you sleeping there, in fact we had a little wander up there last week to see it in real life! Anyway, thanks again but not thanks for making us want Yorkshire puddings right before bed last night! We are currently without an oven, I should get the Mr onto making a travel one like yours!
Hi and nice to hear from and so glad you enjoy my videos, I certainly love making them. The homebase camp was a memorable one,I love high places, and to be able to camp, looking over to where I live was just great. Like you I also look up there when I pass, thinking could I perhaps hand my portal edge up there somewhere !......perhaps one day....... thanks Pat
Recently stumbled upon one of Pat's videos and I'm hooked. Myself having a passion for camping and cooking good food it is a joy watching Patrick living life to the fullest. Lockdown or no lockdown, put up a tent in your garden or bedroom, pull up a stove a start cooking whilst sipping a bit of whisky. Don't let anything hold you from doing what you love most. You're quite an inspiration you are. Never stop creating and always remain yourself. Cheers from Belgica
Really nice to hear from you, Covid or not, it's still possible to get out or stay in and have some fun time in your tent. Next few videos will be from the garden, and really looking forward to making them, thanks Pat
Thanks for getting it on even if you had to force yourself to go to the pub(shed) after. Don't ever think people get bored watching you do cooking camps, there's something very therapeutic about them. As a kid when we had yorkies we always saved a piece to have for afters with some jam on. Looking forward to you doing an editing "video" sounds interesting how you put it all together. Take care, stay safe.
I very rarely know exactly where I’m going to camp. I am usually cycling in a particular direction and start looking for a camp late afternoon or when I’ve had enough. Unfortunately that means , I don’t get to eat as well as you do nor do I get to enjoy a beer often enough. I’m in the comfort of home when I watch your vids and I do enjoy them all. Thank you Patrick
Having cooked Sunday lunch for years in a cooker, I have to sat Patrick, you know how to cook and cooking it in a tent is the best bit. It’s down to the timing and what you want. It’s like one of my favourite memories of having prawns Cooked on a Spanish beach under moonlight with a big bottle of Rioja.God bless and carry on...
@@patrickdickinson6492 looked first class. Oh and we now have a competition Pat. Myself and my brother. You are answering his comments too fast lol he is rubbing it in ha ha.
Once again Pat you do the job of filling the gap of doing the things I wish I was doing right now, instead throughout this lockdown I’ve worked serious hours driving a 44 tonne filling the shelves for us all. I hope and prey I get the time soon for a little camp away on my own, it would be awesome- I the meantime Pat thank you so much for bringing so much to so many people who cannot experience this - apart from spending it here with you - Cheers Dave
That Pat is probably the best camping video I have seen. Had a few mishaps but you're not going to see them😁 can't believe you cooked a roast in a tent, please don't ever stop making these videos as youtube would not be the same without you Pat

An inspiration to us all. I can’t imagine many people going to so much effort to cook a meal in a tent. I’m sure it was well worth the effort though. Keep up the good work Pat.
Hi Patrick, Thanks for the nice video. We were impressed by your appetite ! It is always interesting to see you in your camping trip ... and in your pub too :-) Hope to see you soon in another video. Be safe. Thanks.
Corrrr that roast looked spot on Patrick ...in the end you got it all together, haaaa can’t beat the old tents for a bit of room.. till the next one .. take care of yourself...
Great video Pat didn't expect to see a video for a bit what with the weather but saying that weather doesn't put you off after the last video where you woke up with the tent in three inches of water. This was a walk in the park for you just the wind and a full Sunday roast on the on the Menu, fantastic job loving the oven I remember you showing us how you made it. Stay safe and see you again in the next video.
Glad to see you in the old faithful tent Pat! and great effort cooking a roast in the tent, I could eat that myself mate. Really loving the vids, I look back over old ones over and over again - keep going sir....all the best mate, Lee

Amazing Pat. You’ve excelled again. Who thinks of these things? It made me hungry when you carved the beef. My anxiety levels were up a bit with all the flames 🔥 though 😆 And spilling wine? Points deducted. Great to see you squeezed a camp in hopefully we’ll all be allowed out again soon. Only 3 weeks to go. Apparently they have a vaccine now so keep all fingers crossed we return to some kind of normal soon. Keep safe and I look forward to your next one. Pub. Kit load out. Completely brilliant. Well done, a veritable feast for the senses. The taste of the food, the enjoyable sights, and the sounds of the wind against the tent. You've done it again. Never stop.
Thanks David, it did taste really nice, thanks Pat
Yes fantastic views from up there, thanks Pat
Bewdiful video Pat, bewdiful 😁👍🏻👍🏻
That's just what I say, thanks Pat
@@patrickdickinson6492 you have become somewhat of a legend in our running club, most of our runs are round the places you visit and we all love watching your videos and wonder what tipple will be coming out next🤣🤣 keep up the great work 👍🏻 check us out on Facebook
As always, wonderful vid...can't wait for the next one Mr Patrick...stay safe..:)
Like you I also look up there when I pass, thinking could I perhaps hand my portal edge up there somewhere !......perhaps one day....... thanks Pat
Thank you Pat for another absolutely brilliant video. ‘Sunday Roast’ , you are a legend! 😁
Thanks, beats your normal camping food, thanks Pat
another bloody great video Patrick, always look forward to a new one, though must admit I've watch older ones more than once.
Take care,stay safe.
Thanks Vince, yes remember when I lived at home we had Yorkshire's with onion sauce and gravy, just as a starter.....Pat
Hi, I tend to plan my camps, sometimes in too much detail, just the way I ,am.....but great food and drink...haha..... all the best Pat 😊
Thank you for those kind words, some meals will stay with you for life, all the best Pat
Great the video got loaded ok. Amazing I just watched a cookery program for almost 30 minutes and loved it. Keith Floyed eat your heart out.
Thanks, the beef was beautiful, thanks Pat

Always a pleasure to see your videos pat thankyou
Thanks Pat for this. Love your uploads, they have brought me much joy & knowledge.
That,s lovely to hear, been my pleasure to share my adventures with you..... thanks Pat 😊
Thanks David, your doing a great job, which I dare say is not fully appreciated, hopefully your time out wildcamping will be along one day, thanks Pat
That Pat is probably the best camping video I have seen. Had a few mishaps but you're not going to see them😁 can't believe you cooked a roast in a tent, please don't ever stop making these videos as youtube would not be the same without you Pat
Hi Phjil, yes lovely roast beef dinner in a tent, bit of a challenge but pleased it all worked out......thanks Pat

Another highly entertaining video. Take care and stay safe. All the best.
Wow. Sir Pat that was the Galloping Gourmet camp cooking. You made a stressful cook look so calm and the results. I like your pudding comment, Omg should they look like that😂🤣🤣. Yet again a fantastic video great views as usual. Looking forward to your video ideas and stay safe out there.
Bit stressful at the time, but, nothing ventured nothing gained, tasted just beautiful, thanks Pat
Very nice view,Pat and a nice meal
Thanks
An inspiration to us all. I can’t imagine many people going to so much effort to cook a meal in a tent. I’m sure it was well worth the effort though. Keep up the good work Pat.
Yep Barry, definitely worth the effort, thanks Pat
I too was very concerned that you might have forgotten the Yorkshires but all was well in the end.
Another great video 👌
Hi Patrick, Thanks for the nice video. We were impressed by your appetite ! It is always interesting to see you in your camping trip ... and in your pub too :-) Hope to see you soon in another video. Be safe. Thanks.
Yep, always had a good appetite, never separate me from my food, haha, thanks Pat
Corrrr that roast looked spot on Patrick ...in the end you got it all together, haaaa can’t beat the old tents for a bit of room.. till the next one .. take care of yourself...
Thanks Glenn, tasted beautiful it did, worth all the stress, thanks Pat
Great video Pat didn't expect to see a video for a bit what with the weather but saying that weather doesn't put you off after the last video where you woke up with the tent in three inches of water. This was a walk in the park for you just the wind and a full Sunday roast on the on the Menu, fantastic job loving the oven I remember you showing us how you made it. Stay safe and see you again in the next video.
Thanks David, luckly had this camp planned, and glad I got it in before lockdown, time to plan some new adventures, thanks Pat
Glad to see you in the old faithful tent Pat! and great effort cooking a roast in the tent, I could eat that myself mate. Really loving the vids, I look back over old ones over and over again - keep going sir....all the best mate, Lee
Thanks Lee, such a great design for a 40 year old tent, thanks Pat
Another first class video Pat, I’m so glad you got around the uploading problems - the Pat Dickinson show is always worth waiting for! Again I’m struck by the sheer effort you put into your videos. As someone who is shielding again during lockdown you help to brighten my day more than I can put into words. Thank you so very much, may your wine/beer glass never run dry!
Thanks and such kind thoughts, glad it helps, all the best Pat
Looks like it was an excellent meal Pat! This time I ate ahead of watching your video so I didn’t have to pause it half way through! Cheers and thanks for sharing!
Yes amazing what you can cook in a tent...... all the best Pat 😊
great entertainment. Some people are absolute naturals in front of the camera. You are one if them. Keep the videos coming

Was that near Lady Canning's Plantation?
@@kenfuller5160 Yes Ken, straight up from Ringinglow, turn right when get to top of Lady Cannings, over about 400m to quarry area, thanks Pat

That meal looks absolutely amazing! We got so hungry watching this lol
Great video:)
Hi there and yes it was a bit of a challenge cooking a roast beef dinner in a tent, but it worked....... thanks Pat
Hiya Patrick, great video, cooking a full roast in a tent in winter, fair play to you!! Hope you and yours are keeping well, stay safe and keep up the good work.
Amazing Pat. You’ve excelled again. Who thinks of these things? It made me hungry when you carved the beef. My anxiety levels were up a bit with all the flames 🔥 though 😆
And spilling wine? Points deducted.
Great to see you squeezed a camp in hopefully we’ll all be allowed out again soon. Only 3 weeks to go. Apparently they have a vaccine now so keep all fingers crossed we return to some kind of normal soon. Keep safe and I look forward to your next one. Pub. Kit load out. I’m sure whatever it is will be great as per. Atb. Andy 🥃 👍
Thanks Andy, had this one planned for a while, glad Boris did,nt bring the lockdown back any earlier.
Actually the camp and cooking is pretty easy, filming it can be difficult, as you know, but putting on the computer drives me mad, I had to have my BP checked on Monday and UA-cam had made it go up, OK once it was on.
Good time to plan for future camps, all the best Pat
Brilliant never seen cooking a Sunday lunch in a tent b4. 👏👏👏👏👏👏
Yes a bit of a first for me, but shows anything is possible, nearly, thanks Pat
Another Fantastic video Pat! A culinary masterpiece made and enjoyed in supered surroundings.
Hope to to see you soon. Take care 🍺
Thanks Bram, just beautiful, thanks Pat
