A simple jig that is extremely helpful.
Just route the jigs channel to match your commonly used truss rod width.

I use a “vacuum press” to pull backs into a form on my ukuleles. Also for glueing front braces. I don’t use a gobar deck for brace glueing.
Vacuuming is good but I’ve never bothered using it- go bars are free and quiet.
