Not an easy song to play, especially without music sheets and an entire crowd watching and an orchestra playing with you, she must had got nervous. Big props to her tho as the creator of this masterpiece.
@@TheErmac678 If she's the creator, and it's one of her most popular pieces, she probably knows it by heart. Classical music, in particular Baroque, has been her lifelong passion and study, so it was a labor of love to compose and not a paycheck tune to begin with.
It looks difficult to play, we can be forgivable with her, i saw almost the entire show here, the one with no excuse is the eléctric guitar player jajaja
To be honesto I noticed she missed more than just that part and also the tempo wasn't tight with her, to tell yo the truth I saw almost the entre show here, i am kinda dissapointed about her and the eléctrica guitar player
you can actually see on of the... violin i hope guys looking like oooooh shi- and after that the director slightly turns to look at her to try and signal when she sould jump back in kinda cool
She has destroyed the music missing that key part and made everybody get "lost" everytime I see this I have to relisten the original one to clean the mess in my mind. Should have re recorded on the event
Wow, I had no idea Yamane Michiru was actually there to perform the event. She and the orchestra nailed it! One of the greatest 2D sidescrollers ever made with a soundtrack to match. Thanks for the upload!
Then by all means, please play the PS4 game "Bloodstained Ritual of the Night". Mr. Igarashi, the creator of Akumajo Dracula, is also involved in this game, and the music composed by Michiru Yamane is also used. Above all, the first stage song "Voyage of Promise" is the best😊
A Masterpiece! Amazing this is what interview with the vampire lack even tho it did had a semi good soundtrack... but can anyone imagine this soundtrack with that movie....
I don't remember exactly when I latched onto a copy of this (years and years ago), but since I have it on an old mix CD that I'm about to rip, I wanted to know more than just its name...and ended up here. I've never played Castlevania, though I'm pretty sure I have a copy somewhere, but this music deserves some serious recognition. At least I know where it came from now (I knew it came from a game, but no more).
So lucky that I was born a boy. I got to walk the shoes of a half vampire on my Sega Saturn when it first came out. While I walked on in them, this was playing in the background among others. The musics is only half of it in the library stage in the game, you need to superjump to the ceiling, then swing your weapon when you are upside down, then use a skill of the weapon mid air, and then arrow kick to land just to pull a teleport/fire ball for the big finish. Or arrow kick to land, just to turn into a bat and smash them all in high speed, bowling style. Remember, this is playing in the background, when you pull that combo.
this was a beautiful performance, do you know if there is some kind of album or cd where i can buy this? i would like to have this in the best quality posible
I saw a comment on a different recording of this same performance mention that the tempo is not correct for a partita, and that Yamane-san first attempts to play it at the proper tempo but can't because she has to match the rest of the orchestra's tempo. Can anyone in the know tell me if this is true?
It may be true, it may be not. We have to have in mind that she's a Composer. Not all composers are virtuosi. Most of them have basic, intermediate to advanced level of instrument execution but it's not so common to see Experts nor Virtuoso level. They invest more time writting music for other people to execute them.
Maybe it's because many covers on UA-cam like to speed up the tempo, which I personally don't enjoy, I think this one was actually correct. I'm no musician though so maybe I'm wrong.
A partita is simply a collection of dances, like a suite. It has nothing to do with tempo. This is not a collection of dances, it’s a single piece, and therefore does not technically qualify as a partita. At any rate, the piece that this is based on, Bach’s Fantasia in C Minor BWV 906, isn’t a partita either, so it’s all good.
wtf she did a mistake ! listen to the original one , at 01:13 she ended early while she had to replay that part even the orchestra was confused hahhahah
Yeah she really did it, looks like she forgot her own music, I saw this a lot, because this kind pf artist don't play this songs all the days, but is cool to see the artist playing live :)
She sure does act rusty. She rushes ahead during the first violin and finishes the phrase that ties to the violinist first. Then when that segment comes around again she paces herself. To be fair, she wrote a very difficult piece. Even an accomplished young pianist had to practice for months to attempt this. Baroque is hard.
It’s inspired by (or directly copying, whichever you prefer) Bach’s Fantasia in C Minor, BWV 906. Feel free to go listen to it. I highly recommend you try Glenn Gould’s recording, it’s played much slower than normal. But still, the typical faster performances are good too.
Not bad for kids at all, but still quantizing should be good, also Harpsichord part is importand and it should sound a bit louder. Multitrack recording can really be helpful in this - you can adjust all parts levels independently. Way to go, all the best.
The fact you had Michiru Yamane san herself on stage is just phenomenal.
Timestamp pls
Literally the beginning, she is playing the harpsichord the whole time
A true genius ❤Her music made CV a staple Michiru-San and CV!!🌹
This is the music you hear when you are trying to get a rapier to drop.

This song still plays in my head, Castlevania Symphony of the night to me is truly the best game ever made.
How old are you?
Right
Does it still?
every monster is gangsta until Michiru Yamane pulls out the harpsichord
Perfect music to sit in a Louis XIV Style chair, and enjoy a glass of good red wine and see through it the flickering of a candle.
awesome comment my friend...Castlevania has always had such amazing BGM...from the very first one and beyond...could listen to it all day long
But enough talk -throws the glass away to the ground- Have at you!

She's the author, Michiru Yamane.
mastertulkas Yes, I know, I just said that
It probably wasn't that difficult for her

Yamane es como un ángel, todas sus composiciones son lo más cercano a estar en el cielo.
She is amazing !!!
su infleuncia directa de las obras de Bach
La verdad que si, no se como crea melodías tan preciosas. Se re disfrutan los castlevania viejitos con semejantes bandas sonoras.
A música da biblioteca é a melhor do Simphony of the Night. Parece um baile vampiresco de máscaras ao luar e neblinas
É bem isso, Miguel. Amo esse clima.
É muito bom
Sim, gosto muito dessa e da música do laboratório também

Thank you very much for uploading these videos! It is such a treat to see Michiru Yamane herself perform her works!
My favorite song from the game, this is just a master piece to hear while studying .
❤ the shield rod is the best weapon in the game
This song Woodcarving Partita is not an easy song to play. And Miss Michiru is not in his 30s anymore.Gotta be comprehensive and enjoy the nostalgia!❤
