I have 3 of them, 94-95-95 all the same color, one 5 speed, one 3 auto speed, and one 4 speed auto lsi 1.8 7afe. All in the same color, polynesian green, i kinda fell in love with them. Before that, i was playing with the 5th gen Chevy novas, but I still do.
I’ve seen a couple of em drive around here in Canada. Of course most of this gen Corolla is from the TMMC plant. There are a few NUMMIs that drive here and there. 6:43 That would be a place holder for a Toyota Security Alarm if you opted a dealer installed keyless entry on it. (TOYOTA RS3000) Similar thing applies to the coin holder on the left side of the dash. It would be a place holder for power mirror controls which if you take it apart would have wires plugged into the coin holder.
Man i remember back in like almost 10 yrs ago. A lady came up to me and asked if i knew how to ooen up the gas door to a car she just bought. I said yeah lets take a look at it, it was a 2002 Chevrolet Prizm. But my God that thing was mint. Everything looked new on that car and had very little millage on it. She had bought it off an older couple that had upgraded they're vehicle. I made her an offer but she refused since she really needed it.
I just bought one for 250 bucks the other day and im honestly surprised at its reluctance to not kill it self lol 10/10 would recommend for a p.o.s daily beater
You don't know what you're talking about when it comes down to that car that is a full speed automatic and I can prove it to you a lot of the Chevy prizms got four speed automatics and has options just like the Corollas just like with power windows and door locks some of those prisms had them I actually own one with with that package on it but it did have a four-speed automatic
I had one when I was 15 never did a oil change and I beat the crap out that thing and she gave me good 5 months like beating it you would not understand I know if I was to maintain it that thing would be here out back right now if you see one for cheap get it gone last forever
I'm original owner of 1998 Chevy Prizm with five speed, still running great with new clutch and struts.
I just bought one with 83k for $3,500. It look like it just came from the dealership. I love this little vehicle. It was owned by an older couple.

Prizms were nice. I leased a '95 for 3 years and never had a problem with it.
My favorite part is the center hole
The headlights are also way different. The Corolla has better headlights. The LSI version has a tachometer, 4 speed automatic, and power windows.
True I didn't mention the LSI but it's pretty rare probably cause people just bought a Corolla at that point

The Prizm was build in the NUMMI assembly plant along with the Corolla

Base model Rolla had 3 speed transmission, could warp then burn oil on long trips. Not sure if Nummi versions came in similar version
