An understated tool of the Truck Company. I loved being the Can Man and have used The Can many times in my career but never gave a thought to proper positioning of it, just used it in whatever way I could. You can put out a lot of fire with the can if you put your finger over the nozzle and spray it. A good Can Man is an essential part of the Inside Team
That's a pretty darn impressive example of how much you can do with that 2.5 gallon can! And even if it was a bit larger and you couldn't get it all the way out, that sure bought the time to bring up more water and keep it from spreading.
What about the hot gasses that you have to walk under. I know it cooled them once it was put on the seat but is it worth a little gas cooling while moving towards the fire? Or would can not work for that effectively
This is why "hook & can" is a riding position in most truck companies.
Great video, especially with the TIC.

Excellent demonstration. Thank you.
really illustrates why even in an era of plastic EVERYTHING, the can man is important
Very impressive for what can be accomplished with a 2.5 gallon can when properly used.

It's insane how guys sleep on the water can!
