  • People were rescued on Tuesday while crossing the Channel and brought to Dover, hours after the UK approved its migrant deportation bill. Footage by British broadcaster Sky News showed the UK Border Force vessel approaching the small crowded boat to rescue people aboard. Later, those rescued were seen disembarking from the rescue boat in Dover and walking to a facility. Meanwhile, French authorities said five people, including a child, died in an attempt to cross the Channel in a small boat near the town of Wimereux, south of Calais. The latest crossings come only hours after British prime minister Rishi Sunak’s latest effort to send some migrants on a one-way ticket to Rwanda finally won approval from parliament.

Wait for the flights to start first. Then they will be a reaction.

@@clownofthetimes6727 A max of three hundred people will be sent to Rwanda from the tens of thousands who are crossing, that's a 3% chance for 10'000 crossings. You think that will make a difference? You are so easy to fool.

Why did the French let the others on the boat go?? Why did they not take that boat back to their shores??

Why would they? If we don't need to follow international law nobody else does either.

How the French feel? The lack of any real proactive action to stop migrants crossing to the uk demonstrates their feelings quite well.
