If you are using a 12x12 mat on your Cricut the largest you can cut is 11.5 inches. If you want a full 12 inches you will need to use the 12x24 mat. Hope that is helpful.
I thought I did use my 12x24 but maybe not. I may try sizing it larger than 12 inches next time to ensure it goes all the way across the page. Thank you!
For those of us who do not have a Cricut…you can do a scalloped border using circles. Cut them in half & line them up at the top of the page. (Hope this makes sense). Easy peasy.
