Details and canon references you could include in your MOC a) Cassian Andor was an imperial cook during Mimban campaing, if you decide on building imperial mess hall he might be a cool inclusion b) ISB royalty officer - they often hang around imperial facilities. Having a fig in different uniform in the imperial base could be a nice change of pace c) Wookie slaves - Empire used slave labour on Mimban to build fortifications, thats why Chewie was there in Solo d) On the Solo's concept art, one of the imperial soldiers is riding some kind of horse creature. It looks very cool. For the concept art look up Thom Tenery on artstation e) Gunny from Squadrons was a Mimbanese pilot who fought on her planet. Chance for Mimbanese to have some kind of flying vehicle f) Huge mountains of spent artillery shells are iconic part of WW1 trenches and could be interesting building challenge g) Mimbanese could use reprogammed CIS droids as a part of their army.
I know that it's not lore accurate, but personally, I'd recommend using Rogue One rebels for the Mimban MOC as they are battered rebel soldiers, with WW2 like helmets. I just think it adds more character than the Mimbaneese rebels, and you could sneak in some rebel leaders such as Melchi or Cassian Andor in the MOC as well. Edit : I can not believe this comment got 100 likes!
Love the MOC already! For the base you could make an ammunition depot and some (air) defenses/ long range artillery around the base. Also behind the trenches you could place a mortar placement in a pit and heavy gun placements on elevated positions to support the defense.
I like both the bridges, but since the troopers are in a muddy area with mud ok their boots id say add some mud and details to the bridge to show they walked over it (also maybe add some mud to the feet of the at dp)
I think you should add some custom AT haulers in the air using transparent bricks. Some of the AT haulers should have ATDTs on them while some of them should have none. I believe this suggestion might make your moc look way better :)
I think you should add a oil refinery or something like that because the Empire took all resources left on the planet so there would most likely be something like a refinery on the planet.
I think that adding the crossings with the railings to the behind or over the main trench would be neat because it shows that they had more time to do it. I think the ones without would work towards the front line
use the Ninjago Armour pieces with the large shoulder pads for the rebels, and i recommend making a larger abandoned trench in the moc for the bridges. make it slope down a good 5 bricks or so, and maybe add a vehicle wreck that fell into or got stuck in it
I like the wooden log bridge better than the one with the guard rail. Also I think you should not put a black boarder because it will take away from the rock and mud mixing together.
Hey Coconut, I dont know how well this idea will sit with you. But for the base idea, what if you made it double as a chemical weapons research base. I figured it helps complete the WW aesthetic you're going for. And that way you could buil large smoke pilons and air ducts. Industrial architecture your oh so skilled in
I think both designs for the bridges are awesome look awesome and they both represent how much time the Mimban troopers had to construct them and I think you should use both bridges but in abundance to make it seem like they built the bridges as they went along
Love this Mimban mock. One thing you could add to it that would both link to the juggernaut and help with the almost world war aesthetic could be the inclusion of a tie crawler somewhere (essentially a tie bomber on tank treads)
You should add an artillery bunker on the side of the moc so you can see the inside of it and have guys manning the artillery and loading it. And for the base you could add a watchtower with a bunch of big spotlights since mimban is so foggy, also a big radio or satellite
Really awesome work! I am loving the vibe of this moc! It feels realistic and there is a lot of good world building being done with what you are building. I definitely think that option b is better for the bridges. It looks more rushed and less finished off making it feel like it was placed there in a pinch. Keep up the great work on the moc man and I am pretty excited to see what you are cooking on the other channel!
I think the first trench you made looks great, especially if it’s meant to be unfinished. However, with the main trench, if you aren’t already planning to do so, I think you should make it deeper so that a minifigure can stand up straight in it without having to worry about getting shot. Keep up the great work! It’s looking fantastic!
For the base, Check out the Map Aerodrome from Battlefield V and imagine more Stars Stuff, Imperial Tanks in place of Trucks, TIEs in place of Stukas, etc.
With the trench bridge I think that actually makes a bit of sense because if that thing was starting to fill up a lot of water, you’d also have to realize it would start seeping into the ground, which would make the dirt and everything more unstable so it would turn it into thick mud and if you’re trying to cross through that, especially when you’re trying to be fast you could get stuck in it and that could get you killed
I would recommend maybe making the landing platform raised to add some height but only by a few bricks Maybe even add a couple rebels on a stealth mission to attack the base idk
Since you haven’t finished the wall. Make a tunnel area where delta squad is. Maybe they still work the empire and are spies or something. But I think a tunnel would be cool
Loving this series! For the wooden bridge with the 1x1 cylinders, you can get rid of the gaps caused by the technic pins with studs if you attach the printed tiles to the log pieces then run a pole down the middle as a means of connection to the rest of the bridge
So far so good. I know I commented this on the first part: But a few positions for E-WEB's, AV9's, mortars and maybe a hull-down tank might look great for that 'entrenched' look.
@@coconutbricksstudiosyou should have the imperials like halfway into the water and like a skeleton or an old droid clone fresh body or something under the gray murky water using 41539 with those trans dark gray tiles on top BTW I love this build
I feel like you're pretty set on the arch hangar bay design but I feel like a more blocky shaped base is more lore accurate and more imperial esk. Also you could do a cutaway of the hangar bay so you don't have to build as much and that way you don't have to push everything back as much. Love all the work you do man and I'm excited to see what you have for the next update
I like the idea of the bridges going across the water but I feel as though the empire wouldn’t care enough to set up things like that as they don’t really care about their soldiers and that’s why there armour is so weathered and worn down plus I think it would be cool to have some Minifigs walking through the puddles
Hand railing looks really good on the bridge, possibly have one either side and I really enjoy the logs. I think the ground and inside tunnels of the moc look really good. I feel like you need the border. Looks really good tho keep it up 🙌🏻🙌🏻🙌🏻
Add an old broken-down clone bace or camp. I mean, the helmet had to come from somewhere. You could use that old camp or bace as cover for some rebels or imperials.
This is so cool! I love the design and textures and you are the only lego Lego UA-camr I know with a Mimban MOC! Also what is the name of your WW2 channel? I would like to check it out to!
I like the progress so far! I have a suggestion : I think the bridge color should be black wood instead of brown as it blends into the terrain too much as of now imo. 😃
COCONUT 🌴 you should add broken down crashed clone vehicles (maybe a wing and a shattered cockpit from an arc 170 and multiple other ships too) and imperial ones. also I think a small junkyard would fit perfectly in the moc or is that just me. 6:37 yeah you should I was gonna mention that you should add the border I know it’s more effort and expense but it makes it look really good 👍🔥
I think you should use option B because it seems to have more details; and if you want "hastily built bridges" I think B would work better because it looks a little more loose and slightly more rickety.
I think having both bridge designs in the moc but having the more rudimentary ones further away from the base to show the troops getting lazy or rushed for time.
You should use a mix of the bridges the one with guard rails further into the imperial line and the other for the more recently captured less developed areas
One small change is if you could make all the bridges going in the same general direction it would be a small story telling detail instead of them being perpendicular to each other like you have them now
Details and canon references you could include in your MOC

Gunny fought during the Clone Wars, but good idea anyway as an easter egg
I know that it's not lore accurate, but personally, I'd recommend using Rogue One rebels for the Mimban MOC as they are battered rebel soldiers, with WW2 like helmets. I just think it adds more character than the Mimbaneese rebels, and you could sneak in some rebel leaders such as Melchi or Cassian Andor in the MOC as well.

Cassian should be and imperial, since he was there at 16 yo
I agree, it wasn’t only mimbanese fighting there, but it mostly was.
Smart
Yes
Using a combination sounds good. Rebel allies sent to reinforce the Mimbaneese Rebels. Like volunteers other something
Lego space modular units but in gray instead of white give an simplistic and utilitarian look that might look good for the barracks of the troopers
I love the idea of using the moduler tarrain!! it seems so much less overwelming
Yeah
and you can always swap them round if you don't like where they are
It is! I don't feel like I have to plate off the whole thing in one go

I'd say yes for the black outline. It just makes it look so much more contained and clean
LegoProvoBricks has some beautiful mocs! Glad you're showcasing some in this MOC 👏
He's very talented!
Thank you ❤
I think you should add a oil refinery or something like that because the Empire took all resources left on the planet so there would most likely be something like a refinery on the planet.
U.S.A: *travels to Star Wars galaxy after hearing the word ‘oil’ “DID I HEAR OIL?”
I feel like adding a black frame is a great idea as it hides the baseplates poking out, and I like Bridge B, but I love the handrail of A
Ya that's a good point, sounds like I'm gonna have to add the frame😅
Option B
👇
Really awesome. You should add rats in the trenches and around the battlefield
The AT-DT is probably my favourite imperial ground vehicle purely because the Flak 88 really brings back the WW2 themes and inspirations of Star Wars
I think that adding the crossings with the railings to the behind or over the main trench would be neat because it shows that they had more time to do it. I think the ones without would work towards the front line
Black frame is a nice touch in my opinion, gives a more professional look.
Thanks for commenting.
Option B all the way also maybe add a little less dark orange I’m also very interested in the juggernaut
I just bought all the parts for it!

I like option B a lot but the mixed in nougat and the guard rail on option A also looks a lot more like something you would see in Star Wars
The Bridge A for more well trod areas and Bridge B for more hastily taken areas
You should add an artillery bunker on the side of the moc so you can see the inside of it and have guys manning the artillery and loading it. And for the base you could add a watchtower with a bunch of big spotlights since mimban is so foggy, also a big radio or satellite

Loving it, i say for the base, have a large tower type building with a control room halfway up watching over the base and battle
I think the first trench you made looks great, especially if it’s meant to be unfinished. Definitely bridge B, we don't need no safety rails on OUR bridges 😅

Me and my son always enjoy watching your MOC updates. Looking forward to seeing this build come together.
That makes me really happy to hear! Glad you both enjoy my work.
@@coconutbricksstudios Thank you for replying, my son will be very happy.
The dark blueish grey water looks so good adds amazing contrast I think you should go with bridge B
8:46 Lego ASMR, i love it
Since you haven’t finished the wall. Make a tunnel area where delta squad is. Maybe they still work the empire and are spies or something. But I think a tunnel would be cool
Good ole delta squad.
I absolutely love what you did with the clone helmet it looks absolutely amazing
Thank you!

Thanks for the tip!
It would be really sick to as you said have sombody bash against the bridge railing with a giant explosion nearby!
I love the clone helmet it looks so good you should do more with imp or rebel pieces. I would definitely go for the bridge without the railing
Thanks for the feedback!
Should definitely add a few scattered battle droid sticking out of the ground on the other side of the battle field
You could have a command station on top of the hanger bay and some barracks, generators etc beside it
I think both bridges would work. Mix and match
So far so good. I know I commented this on the first part: But a few positions for E-WEB's, AV9's, mortars and maybe a hull-down tank might look great for that 'entrenched' look.
Thanks for the suggestion.
I just binge-watched your Mygeeto series, and after seeing the incredible job you did with that, I can't wait to see how amazing this turns out!
"ah victory"-me as a imperial fan seeing another mimban update
Now this is podracing!
@@coconutbricksstudiosyou should have the imperials like halfway into the water and like a skeleton or an old droid clone fresh body or something under the gray murky water using 41539 with those trans dark gray tiles on top BTW I love this build

For one of the mimbam troops U could use a green cape from the mandalorian battle pack boba fet pauldron thing from Han solo in carbonite set

WEEK 2 🗣️🔥🔥🔥🔥
WE MAKING IT THROUGH THE WAR WITH THIS ONE 🗣️🗣️🔥🔥🔥🔥
I like the progress so far! I have a suggestion : I think the bridge color should be black wood instead of brown as it blends into the terrain too much as of now imo. 😃
Hmm interesting suggestion.
Bridge B looks the best!
You should definitely add more little clone and droid Easter eggs, maybe add a decaying clone sitting up against a destroyed tree
like that one meme of the soldier dying against a wall and sitting there for century's
he should add some droid parts of destroyed droid/droids in there
@@noway-sk3yr that’s what I was thinking, where it decays and and background changes around him but the body stays
Option B but if you could incorporate the hand rail then that would be awesome
Looking good, I say use the bridge with the railing!
Add some droid parts, and more clone helmets. Also I like the first bridge as I feel like the empire wouldn’t make railings. Nice progress man.
i think maybe build the landing pad first so you can get an idea how big the base will be 👍
Yesss! I was about to do a Mimban moc ! This really helps!! Greetings from 🇮🇹Italy!
Awesome! Thanks for watching.
I would take inspiration from scarif and make metal bridges, it would also break up the all brown look of the moc
COCONUT 🌴 you should add broken down crashed clone vehicles (maybe a wing and a shattered cockpit from an arc 170 and multiple other ships too) and imperial ones. also I think a small junkyard would fit perfectly in the moc or is that just me. 6:37 yeah you should I was gonna mention that you should add the border I know it’s more effort and expense but it makes it look really good 👍🔥

option b looks a lot more fitting for the battlefield. also iirc the mimban rebels didnt have many blasters, i could be completely wrong tho
yeah, and theyre old clone rifles and that
You might be able to use a Maz Kanata head for a mimbanese soldier
Can't wait for the next episode. Love this series ❤❤
so excited for the moc progress
I think having both bridge designs in the moc but having the more rudimentary ones further away from the base to show the troops getting lazy or rushed for time.

Bridge B because it looks more realistic.
Add the pit where the Empire keeps Chewbacca prisoner.
You should use a mix of the bridges the one with guard rails further into the imperial line and the other for the more recently captured less developed areas
One small change is if you could make all the bridges going in the same general direction it would be a small story telling detail instead of them being perpendicular to each other like you have them now
I think bridge B looks much better in my option, I love the 1x1 wood tile pieces. Maybe try and combined them?
I think it would be cool if there was some scattered clone armor anywhere and maybe in an buried ATTE and a lightsaber hilt
For the bridges I think B is better because it looks a bit more realistic❤❤
Maybe sink the bridges into the terrain a little bit to show the mud. It’ll also make it more stable.
I miss some of those imperial era droid remnants or clone rebelling against the empire MOCs
Love the clone wars helmet
i would add a destroyed ATTE or AAT maybe use the rebels ATTE for the clones and one of the newer CIS AATs so you can really capture Mimbans history
Burying easter eggs is awesome. What about a minikit?
You could use the black plates if you make a section with really deep water
I really like the rebels and think more clone wars references is a good idea
Great video like always !
I personally prefer option B for the bridge
Have you thought of adding some vehicles broken parts ?
I will be adding vehicles later.
Try adding some kind of old republic Jedi’s skeleton in the ricks to make it looked ancient
A layer or 2 of trans brown plates below the tiles makes the water look much better
Suggestion: you should add patches of destroyed concrete and/or mud on the imperial base
It would be cool to put a broken down AT-TE or gunship beyond the trench
B looks better, Personally i think it would look good if you add a small mountain. Then you could have some imperial or Mimban sharp shooters
Well among the wreckage could be some wrecked clonewars era vehicles with just a bit visible?
I don't want to do any republic vehicles because I will have imperial vehicles out there as well and it could be confusing seeing both.
You should make an underground Mimban bunker with a hidden circular door coming out of the ground.
I slightly prefer bridge B, but I think having both makes it look more varied.
5:41 all I'm going to say, is that the empire probably doesn't care enough for OSHA safety laws for its troops to have a walk rail.
you should do a clone skeleton on the side of the build and some at-at legs
Week 2 baby!! Lets go
