That's how it usually goes with R/G Law into Katakuri, they just thought he disappeared because of Sakazuki.

that's the reason i guess they temporarly banned dadan and nami... but indeed in op5 with other leaders, the story is different. However, with katakuri, gedatsu could have maybe made a difference or katakuri. But in general law is favored against katakuri up to op04, op5 makes the match up closer, i suppose with op06 new cards that could change for katakuri (e.g. onami banish)

@@moonbreon Katakuri getting additional removal in Gedatsu that doesn't cost him a life definitely gives him a better chance into the matchup, it's just the unfortunate thing of having to draw it versus Law having three searchers that give them what they need. Law having to have five characters to shambles makes it harder for it to succeed with Sakazuki running around, it can handle the other matchups fine due to its speed and consistency.

Yo, I was wondering what do you think about law in the current meta? I feel that he's a beast that is being gatekeeped by Sakazuki, all the matches feel easy to me except Sakazuki.

It’s exactly as you said. Law is BDIF if it doesn’t match up vs Saka imo.
