I desperately want to play with the cats with the bouncy ball, I'm just afraid they'll chew on it and the little bits will get swallowed and cause problems! This calendar was a pretty good one overall, I agree. 🙂 Greetings! 👋
I had advent calendars growing up. In my first years, I had kind of a tapestry where you could hang 24 small packages. My mum got all kinds of small items, wrapped them and hung them on there. Every day, I had a little gift to unwrap. That was great fun! Later, I had ones with chocolate or little pictures in it. You can get the chocolate ones still, but the picture ones are rare these days. Advent calendars tend to get bigger and more expensive every year. I don´t know if I like that. One thing I´m a big a fan of, though. I like it when an advent calendar comes with little pieces that make a bigger gift in the end. Like a play set that comes in 24 pieces. I saw one the other day that had wooden toys in it that were police themed. One day you got a little car, another day a figure, then a road sign etc. On Christmas eve you end up with a whole play set. Lego calendars are a bit like that, but there are better ones out there in my opinion.

My mom always made my advent calendars, 24 little presents wrapped and hung up on a designated tapestry. Could be anything; candy, hair accessories, stationary for school, or socks or gloves if I needed them, mini plushies, etc. I gotten a few from her as an adult too, with more food items, like jams, cheeses, teas that sort of thing. Very cute. One year I had 24 different cans of beer, that was fun.
Oh I love that!!! My parents did something similar, except with scavenger hunts, special puzzles and ways of getting to our presents and other magical bits they added. You're reminding me of how I'd like to add some of that as an adult. 🥰 Thank you so much for sharing!

Yes! This is one that I have been considering because, hey it’s cinereplicas! Pretty much all the items looked good. I love the washi tape and DA notepad, and of course the socks! I think they missed the mark on the bracelet and highlighter, but overall I think it’s one of the better ones I’ve seen so far. Thanks for showing it off!!

When we looked at all of the Cinereplicas ones (or Matt did, I did after recording) it seemed like the best for your money, especially when getting the Amazon version. 😄 I loved those too and totally agree on the others, though the highlighter I brought to work.
