what's even more impressive than their pronunciation is the fact that they clearly have an understanding of Hindustani Classical music and the raag itself that is being used in the song. You can hear them inserting different sargam patterns into the original sequence and improvising with new melodies, all within the raag. I would even go so far as to say they've *improved* upon the original, considering the original's lackluster composition of swaras in the sargam part. Hats off

I am an Indian from a family that has been practising and teaching Indian classical music for 33 generations. I speak both Bengali and Hindi as my mother was a Bengali and my father from Uttar Pradesh. But I am writing this not to introduce myself, but to tell that even I got GOOSEBUMPS hearing this rendition. Apart from a few negligible mistakes in the pronunciation, everything was just in place. A standing ovation to the singers. As an Indian, I feel proud and happy how our culture is appreciated abroad. Thanks to the singers.
Sorry to say but can you please explain why it seems like the song is being played on karioke and what are drums doing there and the drummer is beating the drum. Does this song even have drums in it. 😅

Really classic and wonderful... Hindi and Bengali words in this song. The male vocal is by MG Sri Kumar who don't sing hindi songs. But he's very famous for malayalam and tamil songs. Shreya goshal is the female singer in the song, whose also one of the most noticed singer and sang in many Indian languages. The notes were so enjoyable and unbelievably superb. The rhythm was so superb. You guys are always loaded with surprises.
The flavouring, the emphasis on correct syllables, the accent, it's like they speak Hindi fluently, everything is so perfect. If I had not known, I would never have believed they are not indians.

These guys sang so good, even the subtle mudkis and the alaap, and the sargam were so spot on! hats off guys!!!!
Have always heard Dostonbek's singing but am shocked to hear Kakhramon's s singing too you both are awesome👌👌👌love from Northeast Nagaland 🇮🇳🇮🇳🇮🇳

Lots of love to nagaland from Jammu ❤
what's even more impressive than their pronunciation is the fact that they clearly have an understanding of Hindustani Classical music and the raag itself that is being used in the song. You can hear them inserting different sargam patterns into the original sequence and improvising with new melodies, all within the raag. I would even go so far as to say they've *improved* upon the original, considering the original's lackluster composition of swaras in the sargam part. Hats off

Love from Arunachal Pradesh ❣️❣️👌💫
Who can dislike such type of masterpiece 🙄 I can't believe non indian can sing such tough hindi songs this well...Kudos🙌
im a non indian and a big fan of bollywood...so this song is my favourite classical song..and to hear this performance was just mind blowing..im out of words...just perfect..you both could not have sung it better..literally..loved it so much.. Gave me the goosebumbs..

Welcome to india♥️ my Indian love for you.
Oh My God ..I didn't expected this much clear pronunciation...much respect and appreciation from 🇮🇳🙏You both have excellent 👌 voice
Wow this amezing voice ❤❤❤
But in ami je tomar specially sur was not correct
Grammatically no mistake..😊

I don't have words to describe what iam feeling in this moment. Iam never going to forget this performance in my life. It's just so peaceful.

I am here after watching reel… It is amazing watch them singing one of the most difficult Indian songs with such perfection & their love for the song can be seen from their singing enthusiasm. Audience are not worth I assume it’s outside India otherwise response of audience would have been at another level…😊 Love u both..🥰
Standing ovation to both signers and the entire crew members.
This is indeed one of the toughest songs of Indian music. Singing it live is even more difficult. You have done justice to the song. Hats off to you guys

As a music lover I have to say, this song is one of the most difficult songs in Bollywood and the melody, rhythm everything is very difficult to match and you have done a wonderful job guys. Much respect from here. Love from India ❤
Yes
I am a singer and its my native language but trust me i cant even sing it so well with perfection.

Effortless and soulful rendition!
Foreign language and on that classical notes .must have put in a lot of hard work.

Shreya ❤... has reached & touched so many hearts abroad, they are so much impressed, inspired, overwhelmed by her voice, songs.... this all is very amazing! Very proud of Shreya Ghoshal! She is spreading love, music, peace everywhere! 👏👏👏❤💕❤
As a fluent hindi speaker, this song is so difficult to sing. The last part needs intense Hindustani classical music training! Amazing
How is this possible Non Indians are singing our song with soo much perfection and so much of ease.
The flavouring, the emphasis on correct syllables, the accent, it's like they speak Hindi fluently, everything is so perfect. If I had not known, I would never have believed they are not indians.
As an Indian, a Bengali, I am so pleased to hear you guys. Hats off to your dedication in singing the song with such precision. Thank you so much! You have filled my heart with so much joy and pride. Thank you!
From beginning to end it's goosebump.
Hats off you.

I don't know if these guys learnt classical singing or not. Because it is impossible to sing this song without classical singing knowledge and these guys really really nailed it! Lots of love from India
Not necessary to learn classical to sing this, but still a commendable & brilliant performance
If I'm not mistaken..Dostonbik was in Delhi last year for the classical music and in this song I could feel the transformation in his singing skills too.
Bade bhai ne kaha hai ke chota bhai Bharat mai classical singing aor tabla seekh raha hai.

One of the MOST difficult songs of Indian classical and they almost sang it to perfection ! It's astounding and outstanding !
One of them sang the Rabindra sangeet "jodi tor dak shune keu na ase tobe ekla chalo re"
