*_Former Landscape Architect... I studied under Richard Haag..._* at University of Washington College of Landscape Architecture... He was a visionary... he taught 'Spirit of Loci' or the local spirit that was unique to every site... I came from a small town and was blown away at the Parks in Seattle in early 70's. I still marvel at the amazing Parks in Seattle and those created. I have huge respect for Gasworks Park and Richard Haag...
That’s one place I might’ve enjoyed viewing with the third eye I think. I know I have been there while drinking and probably baked. I can imagine that the black machinery could be a good place to open the doors. ❤
I grew up in the Seattle suburbs (Des Moines and federal way) between the mid 60s through the 90s. Being that I’ve always loved the Seattle area I have always read historical stories and would linger for hours over ‘them and now’ images of the area. Having attended numerous concert events at Gas Works, I was drawn to this video. Of the countless pictures I have seen of the old Seattle city these pics of gas works as it had been are amazing. Not nearly as amazing as seeing the transformation. I had no idea that as recent as 76 this area had become as it is today. These days I live in Madison and so the big tunnel dig project in Chicago is what drew me to your place. Great job. New sub today. ❤
Took a break and then it became kinda long term, haha. I am enjoying making youtube videos for now, but will probably get back on tiktok at some point.

I dropped acid there when I was in Highschool, 1987. It was quite a popular spot for psychedelic tourism. Thanks for sharing this.
