I got this dream house for Christmas when I was 12 but we were poor so mine was unfurnished. When I mention it nowadays I tell people I had the Chapter 13 Barbie Dreamhouse lol! Thanks for sharing!

Even though it wasn't furnished, I hope you still had a good time playing.. also, that's mainly one of the reasons I collect so much stuff now as an adult.. we weren't the richest and I never had a bunch of stuff I wanted as a kid and what I did have had to be shared/given away to my younger siblings and cousins😞

I was a baby when this dream house came out in 1985. I didn't know Skipper had a boyfriend. I wonder why they stopped selling him. I do remember Stacie's twin brother Todd though. I never had a Todd doll when I was a kid. It doesn't make any sense that Mattel kept her and got rid of him, her twin.

It's never been opened, so I have no idea what color the windows are. When I was 4, my parents bought me this same dream house with the hot pink windows (secondhand). Omg I had like patio sides for both sides of the house or I could put them in the bottom in between both sides and make like an s pattern irk if they cam with mine or separate upstairs there was an office bedroom and bathroom down stares was the kitchen I had on the left then the dinning room then living room lol mine was red and yellow
