Great reaction. Most people don't expect her to hit those notes. I never really cared for this song before Angelina sang it. Don't get me wrong, Whitney had pipes for days, I just need more than big notes when it comes to a song. Angelina put some edge and some soul in it that I didn't realize was missing. Now I love it. Of course, I just have this need to hear Angelina's voice first thing every day. It just makes life so much better.

I love this & it's one of my favorites. To me it sounds perfect, but a few voice coaches have said that she is really pushing her voice on some of the high notes. But then this was done a year ago & we all know what a difference a year makes in her voice development. Women's voices don't fully develop until late 20's & Angelina is only half way there. That's mind boggling!
I've heard people say, "Whitney sang it better." And that may be true, but Whitney didn't sing it better when she was 13 years old. This young lady still impresses me after listening to her for over 5 years. She holds 2 spots in my playlists, (one for songs, the other for interviews and such) and no one else has done that. Great reaction, especially when the amazement is shown on your face as you listen.
It dosent matter what age you are whitney houston has the best female tone power control dept versatility in female history. Theres thousands of professional singers who have attested to it. Whitney has made legends seem regular you guys are disrespectful. The young girl is a virtuoso but whitney is to r and b and soul as Freddie mercury is to rock. Whitney was a child prodigy and at 19 she was a house hold name.

Jazz, Blues, Soul, R&B, Pop, EDM and more... she can give you the warm chills with Bohemian Rhapsody and then a cold spine-tingling chill on I Put a Spell on You... She writes Oslo and This is Life and then writes Shield. This definitely shows another side to her (and a couple new octaves, lol) but anyone who needs this to be convinced she has a versatile voice is either a hater or needs to get out more.
She's 13 here, and it was recorded about 7 months before she taped AGT. Also, she is singing one key higher than Whitney's version. This pushes her young voice to the limit, and I wouldn't want to see her do this often. But there was criticism concerning her ability to go high in mix voice (belt), and maybe she needed to put that to rest while singing a beautiful tribute to Whitney. Another song she goes high on (not as high) is her tribute to Freddie Mercury, "The Show Must Go On". In my opinion, this is the more difficult song that Angelina decided to sing, and she did it with flying colours! She is fearless and she will never back down in the face of every musical challenge that she will tackle. I admire her immensely and my love for her is boundless. I see her as my little sister forever. In the world of Arts and Entertainment, she is my pride and joy.

I don't know how much you have read about Angelina's past. Did you know that she performs barefoot in all her public appearances? When Angelina traveled to Japan as a young girl, she met a poor young girl about her age with no shoes. So Angelina took off her own shoes and gave them to the young girl. The girl was so happy that she promised to always pray for Angelina. So as a tribute to the young girl, Angelina always performs barefoot in public. That is why I gave Angelina the moniker The Barefoot Angel! Please, as a reminder to us all to stay humble, use that nickname in describing Angelina! Thank you! I really like your reaction videos.
Not many people brave enough to take on Whitney at 13 years old.... almost none that can pull it off... and only one that can do it at this level. bonjour à tous , je suis français je ne comprends que quelque mot dans les chansons quelle interprète mais je les est toutes écoutées,(aretha,nina,wihtney,amy et j'en oublie c'est sûr sont dans sa voix,sa technique vocale et dans son esprit,elle vit chaque micro-seconde de ses chansons,je vous le répète je ne comprend pas les textes quelle chantent mais dès la première note elle vous transporte dans son monde et on ne comprends pas ce qui se passe (comment on peut chanter si bien dans tous ces registre (jazz,soul,rock,pop et tous se qui va suivre et de véhiculer autant d'émotion dès le a première note .merci d'exister miss angélina .gros bisous à tous et à chaque un en particulier
