She IS music, born to sing, an old soul that has lived many lives, she is a star and just born with it... and she wants to be a superstar when she grows up. Thats about sums up what was said on that audition. And if we add that she herself sais that she started singing when she was 1,5 years and she began with jazz... she herself wanted to enter this competition because she loves to sing so much and her mother didn't acctually knew she could sing, or at least she didnt know that other people would like it until that moment. You know, you know a mothers heart is filled with love and pride so it is not always easy to know if acctually others like it as much as you do. But they did, and we do... She could have rocket skyhigh already with her great great super crazy good and unique singing. But her parents make sure that she still lives a normal childhood, wich is great. They hold her back with love. They could have made her into a superstar, making big money, as many parents do... sadly. I belive they are doing good. Keeping her love for music alive in a pure way allowing her to be a child but still grow as a singer everyday. So she can be this superstar when she grows up and is ready for the world. She is gonna be a legend, so many of us know this. I remeber I was at work that friday night when this aired, the tv was on and I briefly watchef when i went by and she started singing. I just had to sit down it just felt so magic...

This song...I can't watch this video. I mean, visually. I need to close my eyes and just listen, otherwise the disparity between the gravity of the subject matter with the image of this cute little girl while she's singing it is simply overwhelming. It just doesn't match up. There is no way that this incredible voice is coming out of that tiny little body. It does not compute!!! There are no words good enough to say how remarkable this is.

Being a father yourself, you know that ones own children are always the princes and princesses of the world, but somewhere in the back of your head you also know that this is so just because they are your children. I think this was the moment when Angelina's mother realized what an an amazing talent her daughter really is. Also about being quiet and concentrating on listening: usually in these TV shows, the producers encourage the audience to make a lot of noise and applauds when the participants hits a particular high note or performs something a bit above the normal, but I think in this case everyone was so captivated by her performance they totally forgot the surroundings. You can see in the beginning some studio assistant holding up a sign trying to get the crowd to cheer - and they do ... for a brief moment .. then they return in to the spellbound state. And of course the dramatic pause before the judges announces her as going through to the next round of the show is just that .. a show. We must keep in mind the the concept of this TV show is to be dramatic and sensational, even when they have less accomplished participants than what we just saw. In this case however I'm sure all comments from the judges were truly heart felt.

My biggest weaknesses now are vocabulary because it was so long ago and of course I cannot keep up if a native speaker is speaking at their normal speed! LOL they are usually two sentences ahead while my steel trap mind is trying to translate a phrase! I will tell you that I can conjugate the life out of irregular verbs!

Interesting... I am not sure the American audience is so sensitive... I like to listen to some rap music here and there and I can assure you that the words there sometimes are much more angry and violant. If not this song, siacidal people would find some other song I guess

@@israeliguyreacts5808 I lived in Mississippi and Louisiana for a couple of years 1960-61 and conversational Spanish was offered as it is commonly used down there as well as French, so when I went into high school I figured that I had a head start and took it for all four years. My biggest weaknesses now are vocabulary because it was so long ago and of course I cannot keep up if a native speaker is speaking at their normal speed! LOL they are usually two sentences ahead while my steel trap mind is trying to translate a phrase! I will tell you that I can conjugate the life out of irregular verbs!
Some Spanish grammar: dias is plural of dia (day). Although the ending 'a' in general indicates the femininum, there are a few exceptions, e.g. dia is masculine, then it is: el dia. In Spanish the plural keeps the genus, buenos dias. Tarde (evening) is femeninun, so buenas tardes, and the same for noche (night) buenas noches.

Interesting... I am not sure the American audience is so sensitive... I like to listen to some rap music here and there and I can assure you that the words there sometimes are much more angry and violant.
