Another great video Lee. I was wondering, in case I missed one, have you done a drill on defending someone with you (wife/daughter etc...) or if they are grabbed?

Can I ask lee or anyone.
I am a big I know if I hit someone full blast with a clenched fist I would probably break my hand.
In fact most people would unless they had conditioned hands or it's a strike to the body.
I have seen your palm strike followed by three hammer fists.
Would you choose that over clench fist as weapon of choice.
Or are the just to many variables to say that.
    As in what works works.

Hello John. From my experience and what I’ve been taught regarding striking in a live, street encounter, the answer to your question is an emphatic Yes! As a rule of thumb, you want to employ the soft surface of your striking anatomy, to the hard, bony surface of your adversary. You want to use the hard surface of your striking anatomy, when striking the soft targets of your adversary. Palm strikes and hammer fists are great for head shots because they can be thrown with maximum force, without the threat of breaking your bones. Striking to the head with your fists runs the serious risk of breaking knuckles, even for the most experienced fighter. The bone mass that makes up the human skull is the strongest on the body, and much stronger than the bones in your hands. You want to avoid striking to this area with your fists. Punching to soft surfaces like the abdomen, groin, throat, side of the neck, and floating ribs, with fists are fine and highly effective. Stick with Guru Morrison for some of the best instruction on street combat and self protection you’ll ever find. His training methods, combative concepts and principles are pure gold. Hope this helped. Stay safe. ✌🏾

@@1burself yes. Very true . Pslm fists are very effective and the bonus of that strike are the fingers to the eyes too. And hammer fists, applying from sideways or frontal to face can be executed with full force that can rattle the neck of opponent . Very powerful indeed

Lee hangs his head so far forward he’s looking at the ground most of the time. Awful posture, poor line of site and constantly exposing himself to getting knocked out. First rule - body position and awareness
