Piper Clipper, Going STOL: how will it perform?

This PA-16 has gone EXPERIMENTAL and will be at Oshkosh on display. Follow the project close to see what it becomes. Perhaps the best performing Clipper in the world? It's like a Piper J3 cub that can seat 4 small people.

Love it! Everything you’re doing is awesome. I like those who keep them period correct but then there is a deep love for projects like this where take it next level and make it better than new. Excited to see it come full circle

With all you are doing, and having it pulled apart.....No Installed Transponder? ELT? ADS-B? What portable elec do you use? I'm always interested most, in the air, not running into another plane or vice versa. THANKS

I’m installing the tailbeaconX ADS-B out. with a built-in transponder which will be controlled from an AV-30
I’m Also installing a wingtip skySensor, which is ADS-B in.
Yes on the ELT however it is simple basic version.
I’m also adding an angle of attack probe by alpha systems.
